That picture of Simon at 49:56 should raise some concerns to the field. I have never seen Simon that happy, in control and shredding courses at the same time since he's been covered in Media / Social Media. His marriage, kid(s) and the MVP contract has given him so much safety (apparently) that he can just do what he is best at - play awesome discgolf. Looking forward to see more once he decides to come back!

Idk about you guys but this tournament was so amazing as a Paul, Simon and Rickey fanatic. I am definitely, most of all, a McBeth fan but if you love one of em, you’ll love em all, in that veteran group. Those 3 are on the current Mount Rushmore for me, imo. To see all three of them finish on the podium, on any level of the podium, in the same tournament, I’ll be extremely happy. Seeing all three of those guys play well enough to beat the field in any given tournament just makes for an instant classic. I’d love to see Paul finish on top but he’s had his top finishes, as well as the other two. Very happy how this one went! Best of luck next week fellas!

I think the wood spirit of that guitar guided Simons disc the whole tournament long. You know because it wanted to go to a good home. Can you imagine being the guitar Simon Lizzotte plays to help his kids fall to sleep? That’s the good life for any guitar right there.

Simon Lizotte is my Idol, he plays disc golf, I play disc golf, he plays guitar, I play guitar, guy is the same age as I, feel like if I grew up with this guy or lived close to him at any point in life, we would be best friends. Same humor, same hobbies, same demeanor, seems like an all around good guy and cool af. Would like to kick it with the guy some time or throw a round together, great job man, you deserve every win you get, and enjoy that awesome guitar.

You can really feel Gannon's frustration growing towards the end. Reminds me of Simon not that many years ago when he had similar breakdowns during past tournaments, where frustrations mounted and everything seemed to go wrong.
I don’t know about anyone else but this video has a really loud background buzzing noise that is pretty harsh. Absolutely love the coverage, that may just be something to watch for before posting for the viewers!
