@@alexandraalbertz1442 White Americans (including White Hispanics) constitute the historical and current majority of the people living in the United States, with 72% of the population identifying as white in the 2010 United States Census. Non-Hispanic whites totaled about 197,181,177 or 60.4% of the U.S. population. (Wikipedia)
So whites only make up about 60% of the population. If the show is basing their casting on the numbers in the united states that should be about 6-7 ethnic minorities on the show each season. They had 5 this time. Also I think there should be two LGBT cast members on top of that. So that would make half the cast minorities. It would be a much more interesting show.

When I was about seven years old, my mom brought home your season on DVD. We watched it together, and I very quickly fell in love with Big Brother. I fell in love with the game and never looked back, so I just wanted to thank y'all for that. Hoping to get in that house someday and make you proud
The amount of time it is taking for an African American to win traditional Big Brother is arguably similar to how long it took America to see an Oprah Winfrey, Barack & Michelle Obama and Billionaire Jay Z. While seasonal racial/ethnic ratios are reportedly strategized to better sample the general population, African Americans struggle to reach top spots within the external environment as well. CBS would need to do a complete overhaul of recruiting, vetting and rules in order to even the playing field. Examples include casting people as humans, based on personalities, talents, abilities and professions regardless of race and screening applicants for assessing multicultural awareness, political views, diverse experiences, long-term race relations, genuine friendships, family dynamics and socio-economic status.
Like, we all saw CBB2. As messy of a season as it was, I mean, it was a season where 33% of the house was African American, the highest proportion of African American houseguests in any season. What happens? 4/5 in the final 5 were African American houseguests, and Tamar, a houseguest of colour, wins the season. The more representation you put in the house, the better the non-white houseguests will do. I really wish David would’ve spoken up for himself towards Nicole. But, at least it all worked out in the end, since Da’Vonne would’ve been evicted anyway because Memphis was HoH, and she apologized to David.
Very good strategy for Christmas, but if she is f3 with Memphis and Tyler, and she won hoh, i still wonder what she would do! Think her best path is a f4 of tyler, Memphis, and david and herself, think enzo would be very tough to beat in the f2!
My biggest issue with her Da’Vonne is her erasure of Kevin’s blackness, like he wouldn’t count as the first black winner. Sad to see Danielle do it here as well
I LOVED Monica. She deserved that win. Day did a great job. She did the best she could with this season. So proud of her. Love you guys thanks for doing this podcast!
Da’vonne should take responsibility for her words and actions towards David, it’s not Nicole’s responsibility to keep Davonne from trashing David. It’s a game Da’vonne, stop making it personal.
Bracken Crisman I agree. Day chose to take Nicole word over David when Nicole has proven to be able to lie to people faces. If you don’t want to look bad bashing someone then don’t do it.
I've been watching since Season 2 & Monica has always been one of my favorites. She didn't bother anyone. She used to sit outside & smoke her cigarettes lol. I even bumped into her in NY. She was sooo nice. She took a picture with me & gave me an autographed photo of the cast. I really wish her name came up more in BB conversations.
Even lgbt players. They all fit that stereotype of their sexuality Andy Frankie Jason jozea JC kaycee tommy like give us a Kenny from bbcan like all lgbt people aren’t the same cbs GET 👏 IT 👏 TOGETHER 👏
Except Day already knew about Nicole-Ian vote before Julie interview. The “wall yeller” let the cat outa the bag. HGs jus have to play along cause CBS doesn’t want to give attention to outside influences.
I never thought about Danielle's color because she was a smart, bad-ass player who was fun to watch. I think everyone talking about how there "should be" a black winner is putting a bigger target on their backs. If there is a black player against a white player, everyone will feel obligated to vote for the black player. So who would want take them to the final two?
That's exactly what I've been thinking. This is all just going to make the road to the end nearly impossible if people start thinking they would automatically lose in a final 2 next to a black person because the jury wants to make a historical vote, then they'll really get picked off before jury even. I'm surprised Danielle praises Baleigh and Davonne so much when they're not even in the same league as Danielle. Baleigh has admitted that she was recruited from Instagram and it was obvious she just expected the game should be handed to her because of her race. Danielle was robbed of the win because it was before they sequestered the jury. If big brother wants a black person to win surely they can find somebody who actually wants to play the game and has a good strategy like Danielle did, and they're never going to find that person on Instagram with some pretty pictures.
So from what I gathered if Danielle would of won in the beginning we wouldn’t have these glaring results of mainly all white winners with the expectation of two? Because at this point it’s going to be historical regardless because there has not been a black winner. Somebody has to do it. I hope that’s not people excuses for not working with future black house guest. It’s okay to call out the obvious no one was talking about what is in the heart of others. Just give everyone equal shot get to know each guest like they use to do.
@3:17, Kevin is Black too guys, don't forget him! He's talked about not being considered Black because he's biracial. (Even though he's probably going to be evicted in the triple eviction)
I think the difference between Kaysar and David is timing. Kaysar was at the beginning and no one wanted to make waves so they chose an easy target. Now everyone knows the big alliance is about to be broken up and they need someone who isn’t tied to anyone to do it. Cody is gonna want him to go after Memphis/Xmas and Memphis wants him to go after nic/Dani and maybe Enzo, Cody and Tyler.
I understand the point about casting way more minorities. I agree with that. I also think that there are bad seasons like 21 and 15 that purposely target and are very outwardly aggressive towards the minorities because those seasons had some awful human beings casted who made it impossible for the others to fairly play. However, in the normal seasons or even this all star season where the vets know to go in, find the most loyal players, make a big alliance for numbers and immediately start playing circles around the smaller alliances, you can’t make it all about minorities not winning as though it’s unfair. At some point it has to come down to who is playing the best and this year the minorities we’re getting straight outplayed big time so it just feels like everyone is in the end suggesting a minority should win just because of their skin color and not their game play. That’s exactly what people shouldn’t want. You can’t expect others to lay down and just let others win. I also don’t think it’s right to make a point of the minorities grouping up and being loyal only to each other. That’s the exact same idea that’s being rightly gotten rid of on the other side of that coin. Equal representation and opportunity is absolutely needed. But it’s playing collectively all intermixed based on game play only should be what is championed. It’s about being together and doing things based on skill, personality and heart regardless of what someone looks like and regardless of differences. It seems like everyone just wants everyone to stay in groups based on accidents of birth and for the power to just switch from one side to the other. Why at this point are people still backing sides?! There shouldn’t be sides at all based on those lines. You can’t have the bigotry of low expectations and just want everything to be handed the other way for the sake of it. It should be about good game play only. Unfortunately this year we have Day (my winner pick) who has horrible reads this season and constantly shoots herself in the foot, David who is laughably bad at the game and talks in riddles, Kevin who thinks it’s enough whine, complain and be always sad sack then to pick out a bestie and only stick with them and Bayleigh who thinks good game play is telling each other personal stories and sit back and do nothing while everyone else is working all around her. Come on! On all stars? I spent weeks begging for one of them to snap out of their silliness and nonsensical game play. If we had real minority all stars this season would’ve be very different. Day is an all star but had a massive brain fart this year but...mix Day with maybe Danielle Reyes, Monica, Jun, Howard, Cassandra, Danielle Lickey etc... the new school kids wouldn’t have known what hit them. Wow this could’ve been better.
The thing is Day will only not give Nicole her vote if Nicole is sitted with either Dani or Kevin. Ian, Day, Kevin is a locked vote for Nicole if Nicole is in the f2.
As much as we all love day she must be held accountable for how she treated David. She clearly had a preconceived idea about David mixed with her trust issues, in which she used the Ian vote to pile onto David.
Totally agree about the opinions on Nichole. I do not see Ian giving her a vote. Day will make sure ALL is revealed in that jury house! Drag her to the end because I think she has made enough enemies plus she is a former winner.
I hate to say it but keeping things real, Da’Vonne was not playing to win with the tiger comp she was almost moving in slow motion, Tyler came out there like a winner, so he won. Not my favorite person, but he gets my respect to get it done. Kevin was checked out as well. Also, David always seems like he could play harder and win. Is it possible for him to win? Not sure I don’t see it. He doesn’t know how to make deals as he is still learning. Da’Vonne fell into that divide and concur BS.
Its in the players contract that they do post eviction and post show interviews. But the people interviewing them have a set of questions there not allowed to ask once they are Evicted and in jury.
On the live feeds Nicole was crying to Dani about how if she gets a letter from home & if she reads that they're proud of her she'll know that they're lying, her mom told her not to cross Da'vonne cuz Da'vonne voted for Nicole to win her season of Big brother even after being stabbed in the back or the front by Nicole
I think the biggest mistake Jason made in bb3 is when he evicted Amy over Lisa in the f4. Also, I like how in bb3 there was no veto once it got down to 4 players. I can't understand why they do veto during final 4. It's stupid because it takes power away from the hoh most of the time.
I'm sorry, nothing Nicole did justifies Da'vonne calling David uncle Tom. When are we gonna hold Da'vonne accountable for her choices? Jason is absolutely right that it would have been bad gameplay for Nicole to tell her before the goodbye message. And, Nicole already told Ian she didn't vote for him. Bayleigh and Da'vonne blew up their games by mixing up personal and game. Had the moves made against them been made against any other duo, we wouldn't be acting this way. Nicole and (ESPECIALLY) Christmas do, have done, and are unlikable enough all on their own. It's unfair to coddle Bayleigh and Da'vonne and their terrible gameplay this year and blame their games ending on anyone but themselves.
Because tyler and cody pregamed with david and not with kaysar, and they thought if there was a pre jury buyback they didn't want kaysar and Janelle to be reunited!
It's so sad that BBCAN 8 was cancelled, 'cause more than likely, based on the trajectory of the game, Sheldon, a person of African Canadian descent, would have more than likely won. He was dominating the game despite the fact that both his HOHs got screwed by things outside of his control (The hot mess on production's behalf during week 3 where Jamar gets ejected for something he should have gotten a warning for, then Kyle, one of Sheldon's closest allies, gets ejected for something he should have gotten a warning for, then his second HOH got screwed by Carol wanting to quit and only him and Sue really wanting Minh out, then the season ending).
I also want to add that I won hundred percent agree that both Dr. Will and Danielle Reyes set the blue print for jury and how to play. I have watched ALL seasons of Big Brother and if I had my way to me THIS is a true allstars2 cast: Dr. Will, Dan, Danielle R., Janelle, James Rhine, Monica, Jason G., Paul, Dani, Day, Kaysar, Derrick, Rachel R., Vanessa (poker player)... as far as who else I would name I'm not sure I'd have to think about it but I would want people in the house that we're good strategists, smart, good at thinking on their feet and getting themselves at a tight spot, people that were just good at the game and there to play not to get Instagram followers or sell things online. These are just some of the people I would've loved to have seen. Although Dan and Derrick are in the doghouse for creating that huge pregame alliance. They would've been better off just playing the game themselves then having so many people upset at them for this. I love this podcast! It's very insightful and I look forward to every week!
No she did. She apologized to him about the vote but then turned around and asked him why he wasn't on the block instead of her and Kevin And he knew they could never work together because she still didn't trust him.
I don't understand why people play this game if they don't want to be lied to and stabbed in the back. The only way you going to get to end is if you win competition and have a good social game and Day didn't have that. All the fact checking is what fucked her game up
I stan day because she is poc, but her garbage game, I can't! Day had no compassion when she joined fake slick6 to work against outsiders refusing to believe she is an outsider. Worked against black movement (she claim she supported) when she called David uncle Tom, placing blame on snakecole's lie. Day can't separate personal from game; personal game information, wtf! #JanelleForAFP commendable outsider game!
David doesn’t speak up and it pisses me off!!! When Memphis approached him with the deal, he should’ve said something. When DaVonne kept going off on him, he still said NOTHING!!! I would’ve said “Why are you so sure it’s me and not Nicole??” something!!! He said nothing!!! Talks no game!! Rookie.
I definitely did NOT hurt for Nicole. Come on Jason, the ENTIRE world is tired of that nasal voice! This information is factual and if Nicole really listens it could help her improve herself.
I used to think it was the giant glasses squishing her nostrils that made her sound that way, but her nostrils are still squished even without the glasses I just want to stick a breathe right strip on her nose lol

Monica kept saying, all throughout: "I already know how this will end. They're not going to let me win."
I remember that. She played her heart out. I wanted her or nicole to win.
@@perstephanies why nicole, she complained and groaned, super annoying.
My biggest issue with her Da’Vonne is her erasure of Kevin’s blackness, like he wouldn’t count as the first black winner. Sad to see Danielle do it here as well
I understand why they do that because everytime bayday brought up blm or microaggesions on the show Kevin seemed soo oblivious about it
This season feels like ground hog day
I just turned this on, and I’m already dead over the Dr. Will reference in the beginning. 😂
I love this podcast so much!
Big Brother was better in its earlier years. Way less racial stereotypes.
True POC cast members were less tokenized and the houseguests in general weren’t social media influencers and all that bullshit
Even lgbt players. They all fit that stereotype of their sexuality Andy Frankie Jason jozea JC kaycee tommy like give us a Kenny from bbcan like all lgbt people aren’t the same cbs GET 👏 IT 👏 TOGETHER 👏
@@davidbasa9985 omg Kenny! 🤤
Big brother Canada is much better
❤️ Day ❤️ Danielle
Except Day already knew about Nicole-Ian vote before Julie interview. The “wall yeller” let the cat outa the bag. HGs jus have to play along cause CBS doesn’t want to give attention to outside influences.
I love both of you!!!! Best big brother commentary on TH-cam.
Day took us to church in that speech!
love how danielle kept laughing at jason referencing christmas as halloween 😂
It wouldn't be a problem if they casted more black people and minorities in general
@3:17, Kevin is Black too guys, don't forget him! He's talked about not being considered Black because he's biracial. (Even though he's probably going to be evicted in the triple eviction)
I kinda feel Nicole could be gone in the triple eviction... it’s gonna be awkward
I've been emotionally attached to BB. It's always been entertainment until this season. This season has me on a roller coaster.
This is the best big brother show. Better than the show itself
I had the same thought about the Chill Town and Wise Guys comparison!!
Until CBS truly diversifies the casts, these unfair, boring, and predictable seasons will continue🙄
Can we trust David? To stick to Tyler and Cody like glue, and have those guys drag him to Final 3? We need this lol! xD
I love this show keep it up guyss
I really enjoyed the podcast. Thank you.
Halloween 🎃 😭😭 I’m dead
Thx for the videos!
Dani looking like a snack :)
Please do not consume humans. Thank you.
Danielle Reyes needs to start being the moderator for the jury meetings instead of Dr. Will
Jason Calling Halloween 🎃 took me out I love him 😍
How did they get that clip of Davonne if shes in jury and I thought weren’t allowed to do interviews
Its in the players contract that they do post eviction and post show interviews. But the people interviewing them have a set of questions there not allowed to ask once they are Evicted and in jury.
omg this show is just so cute to watch
David and Kevin both pause to much when there talking....making it seem like there trying to come up with more of a lie
OMG the fact checking ruined her and Bayleigh's game Why reveal info keep it to yourself
I firmly believe 9/11 made Monica lose focus in S2. It's Awwwnnnn!
They need a Danielle Reyes or Anthony Douglas from bbcan 7 to play
Because tyler and cody pregamed with david and not with kaysar, and they thought if there was a pre jury buyback they didn't want kaysar and Janelle to be reunited!
Is a say, that my mommy would always say,"PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH"!!!!! If David can forgive Day, then Day should forgive Nicole... IT'S A GAME 🎮
Enzo basically talked David out of voting to keep day, not that he was going to anyway!
No she did. She apologized to him about the vote but then turned around and asked him why he wasn't on the block instead of her and Kevin And he knew they could never work together because she still didn't trust him.
He wanted to go with the majority, and when enzo told him which way the vote was going, he just voted that way!
omg jason 22:28 LOL
Lol can they get past 10 minutes of an episode without talking about how good they did on their season
I think They both may vote for Nicole! Anyway!
I feel big brother is probably gonna be canceled after 5 years....it would be amazing if David or Kevin wins this season though
Danielle don't you think it's weird that Day, acted this way being she is so instinct driven? What caused this?
love you guys
Cody is thinking of backdooring Christmas. David/Kevin are on the block. Kevin is gone.
Danielle needs to get in there and coach these awful players
David doesn’t speak up and it pisses me off!!! When Memphis approached him with the deal, he should’ve said something. When DaVonne kept going off on him, he still said NOTHING!!! I would’ve said “Why are you so sure it’s me and not Nicole??” something!!! He said nothing!!! Talks no game!! Rookie.
I know she didn't have good information....however what was she thinking listening to Nicole and Dani....smh once a snake always a snake
Christmas smirking and trying to catch everyone's eye during Da'Vonne's speech was disgusting. If she thinks she was being slick, she's dead wrong.
