I was compelled to search YT for Jessica Mauboy's version. I was amazed that Marlisa sang it better than the original. She made it her own and I cannot imagine this song be sang by anybody else. This shy 14 yo young girl could win if she won't mess up like what happened at the home visit. The talent is there. If Ronan keeps choosing the right song for this girl and back it up with wonderful performance she really could win. I smell stardom...
I closed my eyes and wow. I can't explain what I felt. Marlisa is so incredible, she sings like an angel, she sings with all her feelings, she is so shy and this makes me love her even more.
I have watched every performance at least 50 times, in order. She is like a beautiful flower blossoming with every performance. I also can see the purity in her heart and soul. Such a humble spirit..... gotta love her. Praise God for Marlisa

Ronan did excellent mentoring here! She brought out what Marlisa needed to let the audience connect to her and her song as if she is the song... Marlisa really did well after this!

What i like is the awkwardness and the authentic cluelesness that she has with her talent. She's like a puppy ready to curl up in a corner, but when she sings she's like a feirce lion ready to take on anybody. So happy she overcame her being shy..and conquered xfactor.

She deserved the win, I mean she was 14!!! She was the youngest in the competition, she's about 17 or 18 now. The thing is is that a lot of young winners under 18 always turn out to be assholes, I hope that she wasn't that way. She would be the one to keep her good attitude, and not turn to the asshole cocky bitch side, the side most of those winners take because they get the idea that they are better than everyone. But I don't think she turned out like that, just doesn't sound like her

Wow! What an amazing voice! She is definitely one of my favorite for this year's competition now. I didn't think she really stood out from her previous audition and the group boot camp but this totally changed my mind. Loved her whole performance from top to bottom!
This girl can really SING. She may be young, but she is truly amazing. Her voice is very unique & I`d pay to listen her songs, that`s for sure even though I`m not a fan of JB, Selena Gomez & similar. But this girl, there really is something special about her & every song she sang - she made it her own. That is why I hope she wins because she isn`t something you see every day.
