How to Setup Anycast Device to HDTV for Airplay on iPhones- Step by Step!

- Step by step tutorial on how to setup your Anycast M2 Plus device to your TV so you can airplay your iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod, Macbook, etc). With this device you can airplay in other words screen mirror your iPhone to your TV or monitor wirelessly.

Important notes:
- Cannot play Netflix
- Don't need wifi network to connect as it is a wifi direct connection
- if you want internet access you can use your home wifi network
- You can also screen mirror Android phones but this video is only about how to setup airplay.

Yes ur screen must be on. If you want to be able to cast a TH-cam video from youtube app on ur iphone to tv and be able to put ur iPhone to sleep while still playing TH-cam video to. Tv then buy a chromecast. Generation 1 is fine it’s like $15 on eBay now.

So it means that you can't connect to internet while using it?
because you're not connected on your own wifi router
If you’re thinking of buying this product, please note that it doesn’t work with Netflix because of DRM Protection. (DRM protection prevents screenshots, screen recordings and screen mirroring in apps except for Chromecast users) Some apps may not work as well such as FOX+ so keep this in mind.
It works on my phone
3 years late BUT I bought a Roku so I could watch old F1 races and stream from my phone to my T.V but apple Airplay blocks it from mirroring; probably because of the DRM you mentioned. Would this device allow it ?

The only things I could mirror/airplay are TH-cam videos but my TV has TH-cam already lol.

It's because you're using an iPhone. Many phones (other than Samsung) don't allow u to stream through mirroring ur phone to the TV. The only option avail for u is to download what you want to watch to ur storage directly then only will u be able to watch it on the tv
They don't allow prolly because of like copyright issues and all
In Android you can use dlna applications like All Connect to share TH-cam videos without having to keep the screen of the phone turned on, iPhone must also have similar apps.
Good tutorial. But I get choppiness and occasional lag when streaming live tv or videos. Is there a fix for this?

I have a question, now that you explain everything well.. how if we disconnect and we want to connect it again should we type again the “WIFI PASSWORD” on that ip address? Or that ip address already remembered it?

I was about to toss it. After some more testing and checking connections, it seems that the USB port did not have enough power. It works great now!

finally, after a week, i got it working now, i just need to wave the tab to and fro to catch connection.

wave back and forth the tab in the air to catch connection, that is the only way i can get mine working every time i want to use it, but you have to make sure first that the connections are ready.

I have a question though regarding how i can get my net flix to play through the iphone to the tv using the anycast . i have the anycast now connected to wifi network . But when i try to play a show or movie it says try again later or this movie will not play . Can you help me with what i need to do to get it to play . thanks a lot .

Thanks a lot for your video, it's a huge help, my screen does not look the same, but the principle is... My 2 issues are:
1. When I air cast, once I see a photo, I try to move to a diffrent photo, while I can do it on my iPhone7 on the TV, it's stuck, it does not move, it stay casting the last image, even if I stop casting. It's there till I unplug the USB.
Btw, on Android it does work.
Issue 2. Is the connecting the internet so I can see TH-cam or web... It just does not work.

The anycast is not showing up today in my wi-fi menu on either my iphone 7 or ipad. It did show up yesterday! I have powered off the TV. Switched the dongle between the 2 hdmi ports on the TV and back again. Nothing. Yesterday it did show and I connected but the sound wasn't syncing with a video I was streaming, which is why I started over. Please advise.

How many inch are your tv I think that m2 plus works only to a bigger screen.... I have one of those m2 plus...and it didn't work in my 21inch pc monitor

Just set the "Internet" in Airplay mode and cast in Miracast mode if you use an Android device. Thanks
