A Very Brief Overview of Ethical Theory

This video introduces some of the basic concepts in Ethical Theory in the Western Tradition of Philosophy. It is part of a series of videos designed to introduce people to the sub-disciplines of Academic Philosophy.

Again, This just saved me. Some of us are not abstract learners, we need concrete visuals and this was brilliant. (Narration is perfect, too). Dedicated my whole weekend to trying to understand this. Look forward to the rest. I was ready to drop my class. My professor is cool but never outlined anything. Just started putting hypotheticals on board with some readings that are impossible to figure out… firstly, John Stuart Mills.

Isnt virtue ethics teleological in the sense that the telos is eudaimonia?
