I'm from Nebraska. Born and raised. I'm here to clear this up. "Cow tipping" is NOT a real thing. Literally nobody has ever done any such thing in this state. It's physically not possible.
Penny has been bragging that she can tip a cow for years, but in reality she might be creating a false memory from a bad event that involves beer and a cow field.
Cows are perfectly capable of laying down and getting back up. A single person can't push over something that heavy, and a cow's not going to just stand there and let you push it anyway.

Tipping a cow, however, isn't like pushing 1500 lbs. You just need to shift the cows weight enough and startle it enough that it falls under it's own weight and scrambling. Just like pushing over a person who isn't expecting it. Your natural state isn't to stand, people do that through effort and their natural state is to lay on the ground.
