Stan Getz Billy Highstreet Samba 1. Hospitality Creek 2. Anytime Tomorrow 3. Be There Then 4. Billy Highstreet Samba 5. The Dirge 6. Page Two 7. Body and Soul
Great album, named after the then 24-year old Dutch Billy Hoogstraten (who's last name translated in English is Highstreet). Billy became a trusted associate and close friend of Stan Getz. He was working part-time for Wim Wigt (another Dutchman who was Stan's tour promoter) while studying for an advanced degree in agriculture (Source: Stan Getz, A Life in Jazz by Donald L. Maggin)

Alex, i will take "anytime tomorrow for 10million." Like Coltrane what masters, but their drug abuse took over. Sad. Just enjoy their music
Thank you my dear
Production parisienne avec le gratin ricain de 1981, sorti qu'en 1990 et c'était encore très moderne ! Merci Emarcy !
Great guitar work from the late Chuck Loeb. Stan isn't heard too many times alongside guitar.
See/hear Getz/Raney at Storyville
Also with Johnny Smith on the Moonlight in Vermont album from '51.
Thank you Thomas Rose, for posting!
Thank you!
Trois Cassis Dexter Gorden
Stan Getz, for sure, but a little like PMG. Great.
Very much like Pat Metheny in places....the changes to the tune "'James"' comes across around 6 .17 followed by a Lyle Mays type piano break.
Apparently it's Chuck Loeb on guitar. Ripping
R.I.P. Chuck Loeb >

Interesting setting for Stan Getz. Should have had Chet Baker on Trumpet.
