Some people go to the goodwill and find these me I just do not have the time to search around what I why I let you jack up the price from your 20 bux to what ever you feel that I may pay for it and then I do not have to go out looking for it and you are then happy and I am poorer but I am happy cuz I have one now.
Hey James I got a question about a belt on a portable 8 track stereo.. I know you work on cassettes but what the hell I'll ask anyways... Are most 8 track players belts the same to work on portable stereo 8 track players.. I need to replace mine on my Montgomery Wards cassette/8 track system...
Years ago I owned a 8-trk player and I have seen the inside of one but I do not have any pictures or have ever serviced a 8-trk present day & I have one 8-trk tape but no player. To the best of my knowledge is that the head jumps 4x to match with the tape as as this is mechanical it has the chance to got out of sync for a lack of a better word more often than a fixed cassette deck. and the frequency responce of the 8-trk is not any better than 10k so the music suffers so I am not really interested in haveing one or getting one.
I just bought one of these at the goodwill for 20 dollars. I seen how much it was worth and almost pooped my pants. Sounds fantastic too.
