he retired 10 years ago shortly after the sublime with Rome project started. I think he was just trying to stay out of the party scene because he was having a kid. I also think he wanted to do one tour just to cover the sublime tracks they never got to play but Eric Wilson and Rome wanted to keep it going.
@@jameswood4510 that's awesome! Bud still makes guests appearances sometimes with Badfish. But I think hes mostly retired at this point. I got see him and Eric Wilson play together one time in downtown Cleveland. They were a deadly duo.

This album is an instant classic and should be awarded 2020 Album of the Year. Definitely the soundtrack to Spring/Summer 2020. Big ups to Opie (vocals are impressive!), Ras MG, Jack Maness, Tim Wu + the new faces on guitar, horns and bass. And Reggae Rog really brings it all together on the keys. Great sound fellas. Looking forward to seeing you in the Bay Area again in the near future.

Wow this Is so fucking good. To be honest I was a little worried they would end up making an album more like slightly stoppid style. But nah its def got the long beach dub feel. I sense that essence of sublime in the drumming and guitar. Fuck yes!!
