Litter from last year, mom was spayed after this litter, its the same litter from other videos I've posted :) Arent they precious! Look at those faces...
For everyone who commented - Mom is doing very well and back to her happy self, she was tired having 6 puppies, (she actually had 7 but lost one) you would be too. She did need a csection which is very common for beautiful healthy purebred chihuahuas with beautiful heads. Puppies are all spoken for and in their new homes. Everyone is doing very well. Dad is with family. Our dogs are Canadian Kennel Club registered, with health tests done and from Champion lines. We do not overbreed, our litters are planned and sold before breeding and they only have a few litters then retire. Thanks for all the comments :)

When they each got pulled away from drinking , they all had a "dude, what the heck?" face
The two smallest need to eat off her more often or you need to help with some puppy milk from the store and do some extra bottle feeding to help out the mom dog.

The largest pups were moved and placed on the back teats where the smallest pups should be because the back teats have the best milk flow. Amazing how ignorant dog breeders are.

It was not for nothing that they turned their muzzles on the camera and showed us the babies, this breed has males in the litter smaller by nature and females larger. Leave your fantasies about the poor nutrition of babies! They're all right, they're not skinny!

Yes that's chihuahuas. That is why registered breeders get upset when people say I want to breed only the tiny ones.

So adorable, but why do you pluck them out when they're nursing? You can show their faces after they're done eating. I too feel the littler ones may have to be supplemented.
