  • Plainfield Indiana... the number one place I'd move if location didn't matter. Of course though, we know location matters! I'm not talking about anything regarding location around Indianapolis, Indiana other than what you need to be close to. I would absolutely love living in Plainfield, Indiana if living on the west side of Indianapolis worked for our family. Plainfield, Indiana is one of the sneakiest places around the entire Indianapolis Metro. It's absolutely shocking how little people know about it when considering a move here. It's even more shocking how little people know about Plainfield who already live around Indianapolis! I'm sure the residents of Plainfield aren't necessarily sad about that. Plainfield residents have a great thing going for sure. We'll explore why I'd love to live in Plainfield in this video.

My old home town. Love the trails connecting all the parks. There's even a skate park. Skateboards were banned from the public schools back in the mid 80s. That's often how I got to school. I would ride there and sneak it inside to my locker in a bag. Nice video.

Hey Jason. I was just in Plainfield last week. I stayed at My Place Hotel. I had breakfast one morning at Flap Jacks Pancake House on US40. I'm originally from Mooresville, but spent a good amount of time in Plainfield. That's a beautiful area.

Village Theater, Yogi's Place, the carnivals that would come through town (at Swinford Park)... I've been out of the area for over 15 years, and have worked all over the USA, but there is no place like Plainfield. You know how when you're a kid you just wanna get out of that small town? Well, now I just can't wait to get back to that small town, Even Though it is NOT Small Town anymore! it's still home. I lived in Plainfield from 1979 to 1985, but graduated from Ben Davis in 87. Hi to my peeps!

I actually live in Plainfield indiana. Beautiful town with small crime rate. We have 4-5 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 highschool, we have a trail system that connects all of the parks in town, we’ve got an outdoor mall and a mini water park. Some celebrities were even born here and it tells you about it right between the white bridge and Dairy Queen, I was born and raised here

I walked that White Creek trail Wednesday night. Really like it. Want to move there, live 2 and half hours north in Porter just outside the entrance to Indiana Dunes. Got hired remote to company headquartered just east of 465 and the airport when last summer the CEO said, no more remote. So been looking for a house since but I guess I am too picky or no one wants to sell the right house.

Absolutely, the town does have an Indian population living here. There actually is a large Indian grocery here in Plainfield called Virsa Indian Grocery along with an India community church. Once a year an international festival is held in Plainfield representing many countries from around the world with food and performances on the first Saturday of October at the Perry Crossing's common area.

I am from Connersville. No more needs to be said about that. I went to college in Bloomington, and I could live there again if it was my best choice. I have lived in Indy twice. I visited a relative who was in a certain state institution in Plainfield several times, and no more needs to be said about that. If you like Indiana so much, especially the IndiaNOplace part of it, I can only conclude that A) You haven`t travelled and spent enough time in any of the VASTLY better parts of the country to know how ridiculous and naive what you are saying is, or B) You are mentally disturbed. I am from Indiana, and I am sorry, but Indiana sucks in every way: Climate, sucks; Culture, sucks; Economy, sucks; Sports, except for IU sports, sucks.

I don't agree and have lived in 3 different countries and several states. Indiana may not have beaches and mountains but it certainly doesn't have the crazy high cost of living and unemployment that you may find elsewhere.
