I remember Value City furniture (formally Halle's in the 60's), Gabriel Brothers (torn down) by the road, BP, Plaza Cinema, Save A Lot (formally Lowblaw's), Dairy Queen, an antique store, etc. Very good Memories. Also a Wendy's where Jimmy John's is now located. (Wendy's relocated on 12th st)
Usually grocery stores become furniture stores, so it's kinda cool to see it the other way around... there was a local Giant grocery store (not Giant Eagle, but Giant Foods, which is a grocery store chain here in Maryland) near me that turned into a furniture store. I was there a few weeks ago, and they put up walls and took out the tiled ceiling to make it into a furniture store. Again it's cool to see the opposite happen, where a furniture store becomes a grocery store. :)
There we go. Now we got the 2 people to dislike this video as they do every one of them. All good though because their dislike still helps my channel and the videos become more visible in searchs and I still get paid for the view. LOL
Cool video! I was the first to like this video yay! Ironically I was binge watching your other videos. You should see if there are any abandoned Wal Mart up there. 👍
Anyone from Erie, are prospects for Erie to recoup from its recession/depression in the near future? Has the "MAGA" made its way over there? (serious question.) TIA
We live in Erie and never heard of this, no wonder it was abandoned.

That is interesting having a Good Cents grocery store. We don't have those here, but we have Good Cents sandwich stores that are similar to a Subway.
