- Pusic the cat seeing that his owner carries a leash for him, immediately depicts himself as a victim and does not want to go for a walk. He meows and does not want to go with his paws. The cat lies on the floor, he is dragged and he rolls on the floor.
Why does not he want to go? Most likely because he remembers visiting a veterinary clinic. The cat survived 3 anesthesia and 2 operations, as well as numerous treatments in his childhood.
But finding himself outside, he understands that the veterinarian will not be and calmly behaves and studies the environment.

I love how he doesn't hiss or scratch or scream like crazy. Such a gentle and soft kitty!
Possibly because he loves Daddy and does not want to hurt him, despite what Daddy was doing to him. Another possibility is, as crazy as it may seem, that Pusic might actually be afraid of Daddy, at least to some extent, and was therefore afraid to react angrily. This does not seem likely, but you never know. In any event, I think this owner took improper advantage of Pusic's gentleness.
one of the reason the cat actually really like or loved his/her dad. The way his dad handle him is obvious soft. and the way pusic meowing in a very soft tone too. I think his dad just joking or teasing him for the walk, just playing around but eventually later pusic does enjoy outdoor as most of the house cat do.
They're like raising kids. Kind of. They never grow up tho, but you can make them be real sweethearts if you raise them right. It's like he's just politely asking his owner not to do that, he's not outright screaming or anything.

We always had dogs. My daughter wanted a cat so we gave in. We put a leash on him just like the dogs. Lying down and meowing was exactly his reaction. He was not a dog and would not accept a leash or harness. However, he would go on dog walks, obey all the commands, and never ran off from when we took out the dogs, as long as he didn’t have a leash or harness. He definitely won that round for life.

If you train them right, they go on walks with you just like a dog. With & without leash. I take my 2 cats for hikes for 9 years.

Sarah Antalis+ That's not necessarily right. The person in this video just did it completely wrong. He forced the cat & then even dragged it across the floor. If you treat your cat right, they will enjoy going on walks. I walk my 2 cats for 9 years & they love it. I also trained multiple other cats to wear a harness & go on walks. (already were adult cats) Any indoor cat can be trained to do that, you just need to do it right.
Cats have nothing against being with their owner on walks, they even enjoy traveling in company...just like a human enjoys traveling with friends or family. When dogs or something else comes along they stick to my side & don't try to run off, they know I handle it & they don't have to worry about it. They had 9 years to run off, if they really wanted to, but they never did. (I walk my cats mostly without any leash in nature...so they really could just walk/run off, if they wanted.) They were outside with 6 months the first time, but they were only 2-3 times outside till they were 1 year old, so they weren't used to it at all. After that I started training them more seriously.
Well, once he gets outside, looks like he enjoys himself!
