They've been around for most of my life! 50 years in the business and they still sound like they have a monopoly on the future of pop music. I have trouble getting my head around their enormous influence, even subliminally upon World music, more than any other band, simply incredible!

I saw them live like 10 years ago .. the show was great, and the sound ... wow it was freakin amazing .. so powerful, clean, dynamic .. my chest was pounding like a drum skin, my bones were shaking, crazy sensation .. you can hear it in this video, the sound is incredibly clean .. but when you experience it for real, trust me, that is something else ..
I saw them live in Manchester in 1975. They used drumsticks with wires on then, banging on electric drum panels, no screens at that time. Still brilliant.

To see Kratwerk live was like seeing The Beatles... they invented a genre. Plus, at some point I went to the back of the room for some air and found myself standing next to a short bald guy, Vince Clark.
