The Versailles pattern tiles are all cut exactly the same: 2 - 8" x 8" tiles, 1 - 8" x 16" tile, 2 - 16" x 16" tiles, 1 - 16"x 24" tile. The issue I am having is if I use an 1/8 grout line, by the time I get to the 8 x 8"tile in the pattern, the grout joints will no longer line up, and the complete pattern will not work. Solutions?
I know this is a few years old but I hope you can respond. That CANNOT be a 1/16" inch grout space. It's a 1/4" at least! When you started the first of each 9 piece Versailles pattern, did you start out from the center of the room or did you just square up from a corner? Thanks, and it looks fantastic!
Jesse Parris hello! It’s hard to believe but that is a 1/16” grout line install. The reason it doesn’t look like it is is because this tile is chisel edge, which makes the grout lines appear wider than they actually are. For this particular job, we started at the entry to ensure that the biggest piece was whole. From there we laid out our lines for the rest of the area. Thank you for your kind words, we’re glad to hear you like our work.
OMG, this is exactly the floor I want, pattern and color. Beautiful!!!
I bet that floor looks just as good today
That's a beautiful job.
Thank you!

Did you figure it out?
@@aderbezfontana5878The manufacturer decided the grout joint…Two tiles equal one tile next to them….

It’s a chisel edge…It looks 1/4” but they are touching each other…
