These are the normal maps(timmy maps) there will be lockdown mode, with minimum gear value requirements, and dynamic weather events, like fog/evening/storm/etc. on these normal maps you don't get/lose rank points/exp, and there are lots of scav players. Usually you can tell a scav player from ai if they have two weapons
There are some Elite AI players that carry a primary & secondary weapon in some maps. They obtain the secondary one by looting, they also fight with real players & other AI players. They behave just like real players.Only difference is that they move solo & not in groups. I think they extract too even though I haven't seen one do so, but I have killed one that was running for the extraction point. You'll know them by a lack of a dog tag if you kill them.

I always see them in a 1 vs group fight with other bots, running from place to place solo or looting dead bodies. I called them elite AI because they're described as such by the game. They're called elite militants.
The loot often depends on how stacked the players are in that lobby. If you're running cheap kits and everyone is zero to hero the loot usually sucks. You don't necessarily need to play lockdown for high profits, northridge often has tier 5 and some t6 players for some reason so even normal games there have many high value items. Lockdown is for rank points and no one wants to lose gear so people are more likely to be heavily armed. If you start looting a few things and immediately find purple and gold items there's a good chance the lobby is stacked. Also, a lot of new players spend money on guns but buy trash ammo. Don't bother with white ammo, and personally I won't use anything but tier 4 or better. Same with armor. Lowest you want to go is tier 4. Keep your ammo and expensive meds in your large case and if you find something more valuable then swap things out. Expensive guns are more of a luxury, but not necessary, ammo is a different story.

I would love to let you guys know,the current state for arena Breakout mobile is bad. (I played ABM for 2 month) There are cheaters,in ungodly ammount. Than,toxic teammeates too. In discord i keep seeing devs reporting banning 20-30k people/week Most of them are mainly banned because toxic behavior (grenading teammeates right in the start and try to rush out with the stoled items) But there are dozens of hackers too. The game is amazing,but the community.... Hopefully,devs try to make good changes for pc ( In mobile version there is a small p2win element ,you can buy armors,bullets,weapons,etc) We'l see how it goes
Why not let them play how they want it to be played. If they complain about how easy the game is then suggest to enter the forbidden or whatever zone it is if they still find it easy then you cant do anything about it because the beta only have 2 maps available.

Wdym can gain/ lose rank in classic mode but only when you under master, if you master you have to play lockdown to gain rank points/coin
