You really captured there emotions while catching some real great angles. I guess composition at your level is effortless! Taking pictures of models is one thing but making everyday people look great is another.
Well done man, was that tent see through? What did it look like if you had the lights outside and use the sheer plastic as a diffuser? I had to get rid of my Westcott 200 and 80 they just kept overheating in larger venues and the battery life on the 80 was trash lol. Touch screen is nice to have but it would eat up battery like a starving child just being on standby lol. The 400 is alright though.

I liked the shot of their families' wedding and engagement photos on the bench. Also how the photographs remained in the original frames. A simple and beautiful way to include family at every stage. Great location. You and the couple must've had a time narrowing down places to shoot after you scouted the area! Did you shoot portraits before or after the wedding day?

Edited…I love that the guests were chilling, no one with camera phones during the ceremony. You had a great view without having to dodge Uncle Bob
Great video! Good to see the 28-75 is delivering excellent value at an affordable price. Did you have a second shooter or do you fly solo sometimes? Do you notice the difference in weight much between the Z6II and Z9 over the course of a day? How long was the day? I’d need a Red Bull IV. 🙂

Really nice Lens that 28-75mm I'm shooting primes a 35 50 and 85 S line glass but I'm starting to think a good 2.8 24-70 for Z mount is better, my Tampon G2 seems to have poor autofocus on the z bodies.

12:20 There was a segment where you tried to shoot and in my opinion you did not really succeed, but it is definitely interesting to see what it would have looked like behind the scenes in such a dark situation because I understand Nikon's mirrors are unable to fax in the dark.
Oh yeah. Well that's why you see the green focus assist light to help the camera in the dark. But yeah I've not seen any camera focus well in complete darkness. That's kind of a given.
@@Photomeike Do you want me to tell you which camera can focus on total darkness? Every standard DSLR camera has the option to work with the flash on the camera that comes with an infrared light bulb (aiding focus), which means there is no way not to be able to fade in the dark, the problem with mirrors turned off the ability to use this light bulb - so these cameras are currently losing , I speak as an event photographer and I photograph quite a bit and come across it a lot - I have a miracle that I got used to always taking backup with me of DSLR
@@gavriel_adi same here, i have 2 mirorrless bodies from sony,1 top, 1 mid tear one,both are strugeling to focus in pitch darkness,thats when i get my backup backpack with my good old d850 that never misses a focus in pitch darkness
I used my fj200 in that manner(globe) few months back; wasn't so bad. This is inspiration to use it some more; also, awesome job I really like the mood of the video.
How to photography a lesbian wedding? Maybe try changing the title to “how to photograph a lesbian wedding” Also understand is pride month but personally I would’ve change the title. Especially since you put 😅👀 at the end of the title.
Beautiful video but unless the brides asked you to use this precise title I would change it. On youtube there is no video that's listed "How to photograph a straight wedding" there's a typo in the title anyways, but yea just an opinion

My FJ200 I don't typically have any problems with. But you are right about the fj80. That battery doesn't seem to last as long as I thought it would.

I used the 28-75 for a good majority of the images taken. But I also used some of my prime lenses.

Nice video, but why did we see blackouts during your shoots without a mechanical shutter?
Because I have it set that way. The black out is a visual indicator that I am taking a picture and what I’m used to from my other cameras.
