Is Sound Damping Effective in Reducing Engine Noise ALTO TEST

- In this video I will install sound damping sheet in my Suzuki Alto VXR 2021 660cc Model and then I will test the engine noise with Noise Measuring App and also I will do a test drive of it by comparing the sound with the stock engine noise lets see if it works.

I think this is the only video of its kind on youtube and very informative. I worked in automotive industry for some time and in my opinion you have to apply the material on floor, doors, rear area, roof and especially the area behind LCD/AC wents to feel the real difference. It is also pertinent to mention that not one type of material is used all over the car.

Good video. I think genuine engine noise of every car is better for driving when u accelerate ur car u must be aware of engine situation that how it is working and engine noise is main thing which helps you.
I was watching sound insulation videos made by a Malaysian engineer. He recommended that we should use vibration insulation firat and on top of it we should use sound insulation. The cars that he modifies in tbis fashion are literally quiet as a sitting in a room.

Wajahat Bhai, for optimum results, when driving the car, you should use damping material in the wheel wells as well, as the sound of the tires comes from there during high speed.

Bhai engine per sound proof sheet laga kar aap cabin ka sound check kar rahay ho. Gadi k door or full floor per sheet lagao phir cabin ka sound check karoo
Bhai mashallah bari mehnat ki hai aapnay. But cabin noise reduction mey aap aik main cheez chorh gaey, aur wo hai engine ki backside ki wall jahan sey AC aur heater k pipes cabin mey jatay heyn. Aap hood aur wheel wells ko rehnay detey, cabin ki wo wali wall aur foot area ko dampen ker detey tow kafi behtar results atay. Next time ye try kerna.

I'm very happy that you tried my suggestion and also apply it between the space of ur engine and dashboard from engine side.
if u have extra money so u may get it professionally done cost woud be around 15,000 for complete car.
and it is heat resistant for sure
Yup for actual results it needs damping inside the cabin as well as engine and I think alto needs a cover beneath the engine which will effectively reduce the noise.
It's the mechincal vibrations that produces sound.You need to conceal vibrating parts but that will hamper the cooling system performance.

What fuel average does it give there? And what is ac performance there? If you drive on a steep hill, And if you share your experience video, it will be easier for us to buy this car. I have done sound damping to my civic X from sehgal motors. I only cover the four doors and it has clear differnce before and after.

Bro you should also install the sheet inside door panels after removing inner panels, then install this sheet after removing the dashboard, and then install the sheet at floor. You will get 85% better results then this all installation.
Oil change se definitely farq parta hai engine light hojata hai 5w30 use karein best rehta hai. 0w20 se khatra hai k garmio me engine sieze na hojae coz bohat hi thin oil hai viscosity wise

Bcz is ka mtlb he ye bhr k temperature 10c° to 40°c may kam kry ga achy sy. For better performance.

First of all the engine noise is very low in this car so we don't need to reduce it at all.
Secondly the way you r covering car engine can severely harm your car engine.
So pls don't try to cover it in any case.

Brother I have a Suzuki alto Vxr new it is very interesting car it is very fuel afficient and have jambo ac like the ac of toyato Corolla and have many features in it saftey features like bual air bags it is the pakistans first low budget and featuristic car I adviced you to must buy this car
