I used to be a right winger, I watched all vids and became one of the best in my team. I’ve now joined a higher league team but now I’m playing wingback. The first few weeks have been really tough. Please try making a video on wingbacks. Thanks!
ayy man, same situation here. anyway, i would suggest to improve your 1v1 both offensive and defensively. excellent crossing ability and really good stamina will also come in handy. from my experience, those are the things that need to be focus on prior changing positions.

It depends on your strong foot. If your a rightback with a strong right foot you need to work on your 1v1 defense as many wingers on your right will be right footed too meaning they will try to get past you through the middle (over your left side). Also try to improve your stamina as many good wingbacks are part of the offense. 1v1 skills, good crosses and the skill to also play inverted (driving into the middle) are important as this is how you can create good chances for your teammates
If your right footed on the leftback that means you need to have a strong weakfoot and best case scenario a good curved shot for when you drive through the middle.
For the 1v1 offensively you should try to find out what your best at (speed, mobility, tank) try to only learn "skills" for the scenarios your actually going to have in a game.
If your new as defensive player also learn how to position yourself and to always cover up the right spaces. If you struggle with that maybe your centreback can help you and give you callouts during the games.

Can you please make a tutorial on how to be more aware/ see all you options on the pitch?
As easy as it sounds takes a lot of communication and sometimes the ability to slow down. Easy to be too quick and play a wrong ball or bad run just thinking too fast. Talking to your players and learning about how they move/ receive the ball will help. Take a quick scan before you move into space/ receive the ball/ pass etc. watch some nfl and look at the QB and how they play will help. They’re using to thinking on the spot and under pressure

I'm as fast as giroud so I just get played at cam or LM
