i know i’m very late to these but i would like to say thank you! these videos have helped me make so many cosplays that i’ve wanted to do for so long! thank you!
I just got the instructions in the mail, and now all I need to do is go get the proper materials to make the dresses. This be very helpful for me, and I'd like to see how the one for Daisy is done too
It looks the same only with different colors and an extra strip along the bottom of the dress. Basically you'll hem the second strip on both sides and place it on the dress where there will be markings.
Thank you so much!! Mine isn’t gonna look exactly like this because I’m going for a less canon peach and a more of the smash bros peach. This was still SO helpful. Tysm!!
Thank you! Please feel welcome to contact me at koumori.no.hime@gmail.com to discuss a rush commission. I also am selling the exact dress produced for this video here: facebook.com/KoumoriNoHimeCosplay/photos/a.593021137377358.1073741826.417702171575923/1651505371528924/?type=3&theater
I really appreciate this. I got this pattern recently. My plan is to modify this for a Padparadscha saphire (Steven Universe) cosplay. She has a very similar dress.
I just bought this pattern and it just went over my head and you make it look so easy but i must say i’m lost lol . i’ll have to rewatch it like 100 more times
If there is a particular step you are struggling with I'm pretty sure Simplicity has a sewing pattern instruction hotline number to help posted on their website.
Very helpful! Reading patterns is like a foreign language to me. I am doing the child size simplicity pattern. They talk about netting though and I'm still lost on that :/ ...they also do a lining for the skirt, but I should be able to figure that out hopefully
I am making both Peach and Daisy right now, is the lining for the inside of the bodess necessary? I have the instructions and can't make out anything about a lining 😕
hi, we are not going to acknowledge that you posted this multiple years ago, but how long did this take you to sew. i last minute decided to make a new peach cosplay because i don’t like mine but i don’t trust myself lmao
I'm really late to Halloween since I only just made plans to go out. But I was wondering, I don't have experience with making dress but would this be considered an easy dress to make for a beginner? And if anything, what would be the price for you to make the dress and have it sent?
I would consider this an intermediate level pattern, though it could be tackled by a beginner with some patience and a willingness to Google techniques they are not familiar with. I do not currently offer costume commissions.
Thank you for this tutorial! I’m making the child-sized version for my daughter and this video has been a lifesaver! So simple and easy to follow :)
Thank you! I'm glad it was helpful!

i been working a bowsette cosplay and for the life of my couldent figure out how to do her hip bustle, thank you for the tutorial was a massive help
Thank you, I'm glad it was helpful!
I always thought her dress had a circle skirt.
You could definitely do a circle skirt instead for added fullness, I was just following along with the pattern.
If I did do a circle skirt which one would you recommend @@KoumoriNoHimeCosplay
How much to make this and mail it to me before Halloween. I cannot find this dress anywhere and my son is going to be Mario

Without the sleeves it looks like the Super Mario Sunshine dress
It does! You could totally use this pattern for that dress!
Koumori No Hime Cosplay only one problem
Koumori No Hime Cosplay I don't have the money and I don't know how to make a dress
Maybe you should try to make a wedding Princess Peach gown from Super Mario Odyssey!😮😊
@@KoumoriNoHimeCosplay did you also make the Daisy dress ?? if so is it near a size 14 😍🙏😍 , 🎃👍

I'm not sure about the child sized pattern, though Simplicity does have a pattern question hotline on their website!

The tutuorial felt really fast but it really helped me understand the pattern thank you so much!!!
Thank you hoping I can use this to get an idea for my chompette
Thank you! Good luck with your cosplay!
Can you do Daisy?
Thank you for the suggestion!

It's hard to say, sewing is a hobby and not my full time job, so I just work on little bits when I have time.
In your opinion, would this pattern work for her wedding dress (the one from super mario odyssey) as well?
I don't think it would work for her wedding dress, since the bodice is so different.
I'm going to make this for my mom someday.
That's wonderful!
She is the Peach of my house to me.
Hi i hope you can still see this comment!
How much fabric did you use? How long was it or did you just buy a whole fabric roll?
Thank you! The back of the pattern envelope has a guide on how much fabric to use- it depends on the size of the wearer and the width of the fabric.
I'm trying to do this to see the movie even tho i don't have the pattern lol
Good luck with your costume!
Such a fun tutorial! It turned out great. Where did you get the fabric?
Thank you! It's from Joann's, though I'm not sure if they still carry these exact colors.
Could you do this without and inner layer of the bodice, and does the pattern call for the inner part because I can't find where it says it?

@@KoumoriNoHimeCosplay Ah I see! Thank you though :>
Is it necessary to do the lining???
How much fabric did you use?
The amount of fabric needed depends on the size of the person wearing the costume and the width of the fabric.

Thanks!
Yes, I needed this for bowsette 👀
Great! Good luck with your Bowsette cosplay!
