Love, Love, Sully especially for opening up about your life. We all have our own battles in life. Just nice to know we are not alone in this huge world. Thank you so much!! I look forward to each session on you tube.

I just heard my story and I'm also in recovery.
*This is very important to talk about mental illness after being sober!! I'm a musician also, and that is now a vice to keep me from commiting suicide!! That's what we need to find as a recovering heroin addict, alcoholic, and untill just recently I now have tools to not take 120 **2.mg** kolotopins, or play Russian Roulette, or getting talk down from 8 mile & I75..!! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!* God bless you and all .✌️💯

Sully, I can’t thank You enough for your show today & having James on. This was a Godsend! I enjoy all your shows and music, but this show was a shot to my heart. And l have survived all of this content and made it through it but today was a rough one, but hearing y’all tonight really gave me the boost I needed!!!

Great video, I didn’t have addictions, I just hate everything about life and people and tried literally drinking myself dead. I read the Bible daily now and it brings the hate out. God Bless you both

Thank you Sully and Jim Wahlberg for this amazing show. I just donated to the Scars foundation Sully. I'm so glad you have that organization because Mental Health gets overlooked many times. As someone that has dealt with Depression I think your foundation will help many people in need. I am a fan of the Wahlberg's and did not know about Jim and his addiction. I've also dealt with this too. My husband is 14 years sober and I've been in Al-Anon for 14 years. I've always loved Godsmack and I am a huge fan of you Sully. Thank you for everything including Hometown Sessions. It's been great to hang out with you and get to know you better 😚

Absolutely amazing session! Thank you. Keep up these Hometown Sessions as they are informative, helpful and most of all REAL Sully. I work 3rd shift and either listen to these all nite long or your music. It keeps me going. I’m a frontline worker, stressed to the MAX and your videos really chill me the hell out. Thank you 🤘😎🥰

Sully, not sure you read these, but gotta write this anyway. I always thought you had your head on straight back then. You had direction and the passion talked about here. I remember your diligence in the studio. Always admired that about you. Thank you for taking me through that journey with you in the beginning. I never forget those days. Loved them, but also glad to have it behind me for other reasons.

It's a great pleasure to be able to connect with you so personally in this way. Your music touches my bones. It gives me something to live for. Music does. Its one thing that lifts up my soul. My motto is. If there's one thing I WILL FOREVER BE IN LOVE WITH besides a man (witch I'm not) is my music. Who may I ask is th woman singing on your home town album? Also,, did you write this music yourself and If so. Are th lyrics based on your own personal experiences? Thank you Sully. From the bottom of my heart. Love you. 😚 🇳🇿

I would like to know more about the Awake album. It's my favorite album of all time! I know you answered about your mind set on the album, but I want to know more details, there isn't ery much much you can read about it online, and I love everything about it. How was it working with the producer? How long did it take to record? What guitar gear was used in the album? Where did all the dark spooky vibe come from? Briefly what are all the songs about? The live wochester show in 2001? And what do you think of the album now as a whole and the person you where back then? I really hope you answer, I am a massive massive fan of you guys! Your my favorite band of all time, and I hope you come to Dublin or Belfast sometime!!

This interview was so interesting that I listened intently. I am very fortunate that there is no addiction in my immediate family, but I do know other families that struggle. So very interesting to hear your and James stories. We love love love your music and have seen you live many times! Keep up the good work!!

I hope that my son never turns out to be addicted to drugs like his dad. I left my kid's dad 5yrs ago. He was addicted to meth, he was abusive. How likely is it that my son would be addicted later in life?

Does your son remember how he was?

    • @SusieQusie

50%. It could go either way. He is predisposed, physically and environmentally if he remembers. Just show him all the support and encourage you can and pray for the best.
