I had the earliest variant and if I had to choose, that variant would be what I would choose over Omicron any day. The point I am attempting to make is that people of influence, like Mulaney, need to urge caution or not mention it because he might be the person who some people would listen to the most.

One of the few good things that the pandemic did is that it is now okay to dress comfortably. Save the suit for special occations! (As was done - for example - four months ago when when Letterman was guest on the 40:th annniverary.) And if you say that EVERY show is special - then NO show is special.

I know many others did the same, and really, we had no choice. I guess they still make Seth happy, but they are starting to get on my nerves. When it gets too much, I remind myself that at least it’s not Colbert’s audience I am listening to.
Colbert does look organic in a suit because to him that's his comedy uniform, like a superhero. I think it's old fashioned still personally but it also takes nothing away from him being very entertaining
