@greatstorm3805 I think that would be a better idea because if you could completely disable it then everyone could just turn the feature off and it'd make the role pretty boring
or instead of the rainbow sight, they could switch up the colors and outfits of the other players as well as get rid of names to confuse them. it could be like a special effect that can only be used twice like how the assassin gets 2 shots !!
Answer to Doug's question: The Owl. A neutral role that can see while lights are out, but only in greyscale. They have the power to eat a body, but after a certain amount of time, they will spit out the body as a corpse.
0:55 To answer Doug’s question: The Ostrich. with this role, a player would be able to increase their speed as long as the round goes on, so the longer the round, the faster the player, and the cycle starts every time a new round starts
if I were to make a new role, I'd choose the Haunted, a duck who can see ghosts and maybe duck ghosts can also hear the Haunted even when not possessing him.
DQOTD: They should introduce the Peacock as a duck role with a special ability where when it opens its wings it acts like a flash bang to everyone in the nearby radius besides the Peacock. Also, an update to the Pigeon, a few moments after sneezing on people it temporarily blinds geese for the round.
Doug question of the day: The Chicken, a Goose role who survives for 25~ seconds after being killed, but cannot talk. Once the meeting is called, they are killed off either way. Bumbling Idiot: Goose Is unaffected by indirect kills(Demo, esper), immune to Pelican, can see professional kills, doesn't see celebrity, and can't call bodies
Hi Doug 😊,to answer your question I would add a mocking bird. It can only kill no hiding or anything else however in addition to being able to kill it can get the properties of the last goose it killed like if it kills the demo it can now use bombs as a secondary until its next normal kill, if it kills birdwatcher now its secondary is see through walls, if kills assassin it can now assassinate at meetings and etc.But their would be some alternatives to certain roles like you cant get dodo vote ability as mockingbird and if you kill Canadian you don't set off the self report and become Canadian but if you kill sheriff your kinda boned because if you kill a non duck you will die. I think role can really make some chaos for both the role and lobby.🦆

what about a chicken role that can still move around for a few seconds after being killed by a duck? Or maybe a duck that can convert a goose into a duck role
Doug's question has already been on my mind for a long while and I've already made an answer to it. It's still in the traditional drawing phase, but it's called the Pencil (Duck) role. Although this duck cannot kill, during meetings the Pencil Duck can select one person to reveal their role by drawing on their player icons. For example, if the Pencil Duck wants to reveal who the sheriff is, they will draw a gun, sheriff's hat and badge on the player's icon. It's up to the other geese, and ducks, to understand the role that was just drawn. This role works well with the Assassin Duck in play. Oh, they only finally start being able to kill once the other ducks have died.
No idea what it’d be called, but a role similar to ToS arsonist would be interesting. Neutral role that “douses” everyone 1 by 1 with a long cooldown that last in between meetings, then late game igniting so that every doused player dies at once
to Doug's Question: The Owl role, either killer or neutral - after the owl kills the body will be immediately eaten, but before you can kill again you have 'throw up' the body. Like how Owls throw up the non-digestible parts of their meal; bones , skin/fur, etc...

Doug's Quest: Tunnel Duck: Dig your own vent path (Can only be underground for 5 sec.) Moves like astral but blind and deaf and underground Taxidermist Duck: Turn a body into a decoy (name tag and all) Voodoo Goose: Can kill once for a blood offering to revive a player (while in play, ghosts cant see roles) [ Thor can tweak it ] Road Runner Goose: Has a sprint ability Mocking Bird Neutral: Has the ability of another players roll (after every roll call) Goal: Wins if one of the last 3-4 (whatever works)
Answering Dougs question, I think a bat role would be really cool, they have lessened vision, but when the lights are out they are a lot faster and can see normally and when they kill, they leave a shriveled up body, like it has no more blood in it :)
Dang it JP!! And for a role I would say a Raven. It would be a killing roll, its like Esper/party duck but instead of a goose dying a couple seconds later they die in the meeting after the Raven "tagged" them. So it would be like the duck gave the goose a kiss of death. Idk how many times per round the Raven would be allowed to do that.
To answer you Doug, I think a role where you can only kill through laying traps could be interesting Or for a goose role, one where you can bounce back a kill onto the killers would be really cool, like gravy but it kills the person trying to kill rather than someone nearby and the only way to kill them is through sabotages like the boulder
I feel like a fun role would be one like the parakeet it will be able to record a short conversation to be able to out the bad guys during the meetings so the bad guys will have to figure out who it is and kill them before they reveal it to them thinking they can trust them but they can’t because the parakeet will be able to put them if they choose to
Ah, so this’ll be just like any of your other GGD vids? Edit for Doug’s question: I haven’t really gotten idea for a role myself, but I did read someone’s idea for a “Mocking Bird” that could steal someone’s role- maybe they find the corpse and take the role for themselves?
I have a great GGD role that you can add. Basically, it's called the Karen and the Karen can vote out anyone regardless of what others do. They can only vote out a person 1 time per game and they have to figure out who the dodo is and kill them before they are killed by anyone else.
To answer Doug I think a role called the Raven could be dope. The role is good but will blind everyone in a small area, but if the impersonator duck is transformed, or the invisibility duck is using their power in that area they will be highlighted.
Archeologist: a goose who can go to a body and in the meeting it’ll say if they were killed by mummy or not or maybe even by the specific role like sheriff or falcon or party etc
a cool new goose goose duck role would be like a reverse stalker, like if they are near other people they can force everyone to target them, being able to act like a Canadian but as an offensive role since the person who unalives them would instantly report it, but itd be an activated ability with a 5 second use and a 30 second cool down if its not used
LOL NOT TAI'S SCREAM GETTING CUT OFF THAT WAS HILARIOUS Also Pooki must've been in the new Fast and Furious movie because of his belief in winning as a family
Doug Question answer: How about a penguin? They'd be a neutral role. They cannot vent and can make both ducks and geese slippery making them slower but slide when they stop moving and they can only kill players who have been made slippery. Or another idea is they'll be able to freeze players and if they freeze the majority of the alive players they win. They don't have a traditional cooldown, and the more players frozen the shorter the cooldown is, but if a frozen body is found(or any body) their cooldown is reset back down to one. So they have to complete the round as fast as they can or else it'll be more difficult for them to win.
Peacock role was a killing role or natural role, causing the group of people around him to become blind for 5 seconds, letting the peacock kill a person.
The Dove. A neutral role. Has the ability to resurrect a player that has died that round, and must resurrect a set number of bodies in order to win, much like how the Vulture has to eat a set number of bodies to win. Cannot resurrect more than one body per round, and cannot resurrect the same player if they die again in the same or later rounds. Cannot vote, or skip voting. The “I voted” checkmark appears one second after voting becomes available, but no vote is cast. (Optional: Like the Vulture, has a radar pointing them to a dead body they’re able to resurrect)
Penguin role. A neutral role but treat it like the esper duck. Select a target and remotely freeze them. This doesn’t kill the player, however it leaves them vulnerable to sabotages and murder. Penguin can only kill players already frozen. Goal: last one standing. Counters: longer cooldown. Smaller range of vision.
For Doug’s question: A role that acted like gravy, but exclusively for good killing rolls. If a bad or neutral role killed them, it would kill the killer as well
A role that disables the sabos would be fun. I think it would kinda be like this Once the ducks activate the sabotages you can Deactivate them but only once per round
they really should add a penguin role thats evil and freezes people and after a certain amount of time the frozen goose dies but also add a pheonix role that can thaw out the penguins victims before they die
Doug's question: Phoenix, the player can die, but is able to come back alive after either a certain amount of game time, like 10 minutes maybe, or after a certain amount of time in a round. Also the clock starts once the goose dies, so it puts pressure on the ducks. And to make it balance, the phoenix can only see the role of the person that killed them, unlike others and can't speak with the rest of the dead.
To answer Doug's question. The mockingbird. They are a neutral role that wins along as they don't die. Their power let's the copy the ability of one person's role per round
To answer Doug’s question: I think they should create a censor duck. They have the power where everyone looses there name and turn the same color for 10 seconds. Then nobody knows who is who around. Or a neutral goose role that can bring back 1 dead body each game
Doug for your question, I thought about a role called “God”. The “God” can bless/protect one person and if someone tries to kill them the “blessed” player teleports away. The player is no longer blessed after being teleported away. If someone kills the “God” then they are cursed and the curse will be that everyone can see your role in the meeting. This power can only be used 2 times. The “God” can help the Goose,Duck,or Neutral roles, but the only way for “God” to win is if the person they “blessed” stays alive the whole game.
Penguin and it makes the floor slippery so if it's triggered any geese or ducks could end up frozen solid or slid to another trap that gets triggered but it has a 29 second cool down and can only be used once after meetings
NEW GGD ROLE: Peacock (duck or neutral) - The peacock makes other players have to kill another player or they die. the option for that player to kill doesn’t appear for a few seconds, almost like the demo delay.
For Doug's question: Snowball (Duck) Starts with a long cooldown time and the more they kill the shorter it gets (like the saying of a snowball gaining momentum)
New role. The switcher! The switcher has the ability to switch a goose or duck role with another goose or duck. It can only be done 3 times and those who are switch wont know who they switched with
necromancer: It's a duck role it can't directly kill but it can inspect bodies If it's a body of a duck then it gains that duck ability for the round and if its a goose it resurrects the goose for a round but the goose can't talk if it inspects a neutral the necromancer dies
Duck idea: The Pacock 🦚 Its ability is like that of a sharif, but after finding out the person is bad, they are able to stun them for five seconds (like an animal being stunned by the sight of apeacocks feathers)
Not sure if this one has been thought about but, I think a Parrot role would be cool. It could be a case of either kill and take their role or just steal their role and leave them a goose
I don’t know if you’ll see this but I’ve been around for a hot minute and just wanted to thank you for how authentic your content feels. It makes me feel super cozy, and I just wanted to appreciate you for that! :)
I have a role idea, will it happen? very likely not Yandere-duck, has a kill cooldown of 40 seconds, when close to there *random* soulmate the yandere is about to kill a maximum of 3 in 1 kill depending on the distance to there 'partner', if the yandere's soulmate dies (they can not kill there soulmate) the yandere will have 10 seconds of a cooldown free kill before they explode Edit: boy i hope this stays because i want people to see my idea
To Doug's question: new role Crow: can pick sides between ducks or goose's If on duck side: it works like a vulture but gives ducks the win If on goose side: it can scout in the fog (aka duck fog) and gets red dots in the screen when a bad role goes in. IF ON no sides: it stalks and can kill though cool down is 30 seconds. And can compete with the vulture. It can't go in the fog unless it's on the ducks side. The game won't end if the crow and falcon or pelican is alive making it a 1v1 of who kills(or eats) who faster. Also love seeing Max playing goose goose duck better then any TH-camr tbh. ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
The Occultist: can make a player go and kill the nearest player for the next ten seconds, this happens 10 seconds after the occultist has affected the player
Dove- a "guardian angel" type but can guard players only before the dove dies. Also can find killing roles (like spy or detective does), and can assassinate them in the same way an assassin does during a meeting sequence. For a dove to win with the geese, it must find the other neutral non-duck role and kill them. Otherwise, the dove loses. Stork - Pelican but with good intents. As a stork you can swallow a player and release them elsewhere. The player is regurgitated during meetings and will remain in the storks stomach until they are tossed out. This can only happen to one player at a time, and if someone kills a stork carrying another player, they both die. The stork, like the dove, is a positive-neutral role, and wins with the geese if it manages to survive. Raven - just a little mischief role, it can cast a curse on a player. This can come in the form of being partied, silenced, having ones controls switched post-meeting, and can set off duck plays along with other things. The raven can only win if its not voted out or killed. True neutral role Phoenix- another mischief role, essentially an arsonist who can be revived once per game. They can set rooms and people on fire, lock doors, and kill once per game with their firestarter abilities. When players are on fire, there are two possible effects decided by the phoenix. A phoenix can choose to set you alight, making your character have an on-flames animation along with increasing their speed, or they can give you a feather, which can revive you only if you were voted out during a meeting, before the meeting ends (this is to prevent players from seeing roles). Thunderbird - Maybe a map-locked role, the thunderbird is a negative-neutral that can both kill a player via delayed lightning strike, like the demolitionist, or can electrocute them to make them unable to move until a body is called or 30 seconds pass. The Thunderbird cannot be voted out, making their role easy to out if they play badly, but can be imprisoned. They win if they manage to kill more players than any other duck or neutral role by the game's end. Turkey- can and will do anything to survive. If a turkey is attacked, the kill will be blocked and reversed alike to what a gravy does. The only time it can be killed during non-meetings is during map-locked traps, like the boiler, the boulder, or the chandelier. During meetings they can be killed. They themselves can kill one other person with them, if voted out. They only win if they make it to the end, where, if all killing roles are gone, they automatically win over the ducks and any other non-killing neutral. Thanks for the question, Doug!!!! Hope this sparks some ideas!
Doug, like people are saying, a peacock role would be amazinggggg but I think a swan role would be cool :) it starts off as an “ugly duckling” and if someone is killed around them it automatically makes them report it and their mic is quieter than the rest during meetings. As the game continues they report less bodies and instead it shows an arrow for where the most recent person was killed around them and their mic gets louder than the rest :)
I didn’t do anything wrong :)
I deal like that false
I freaking love you JP 🤣 your so funny
JP u know what u did

That sounds like a really cool role, would make for funny moments to
That sounds amazing!!
You should not be able to see others because... you don't have eyes, just be able to do tasks
Possible flaw: they could keep circling the killer. Maybe they don't see anyone on the map, just like when invisibly duck is invisible
Oo that sounds sick
To Doug's question: Peacock, the peacock can deflect the demolitionist bombs and party's the party duck whenever they try to use their role to the peacock
so a shittier old esper role LMFAO /nm /j
I think the party thing is too op but being able to deflect certain abilities would be cool

@greatstorm3805 I think that would be a better idea because if you could completely disable it then everyone could just turn the feature off and it'd make the role pretty boring

always love some good ol' goose goose duck content!
for a Goose, Goose, Duck role.

it's played exactly like the mimic but is considered its own team and the ducks see them as one of their own.
they must bait out the other ducks and kill them to win, if they kill the wrong player aka a goose, they die like the sheriff role.

yes, I said this in a different video, and I'll do it again! ...maybe not only did it cause Doug asked their question of the day.

what about a chicken role that can still move around for a few seconds after being killed by a duck? Or maybe a duck that can convert a goose into a duck role
The speedster, for 5 seconds you have increased speed.
I have an idea for a role where you can give someone nausea and they can't vote
Or the role randomly picks someone other that who you pick
Here's a new role Doug
Jouster: A couple times per round you get a 40 second time window to get someone to kill you. If they do, they die instead.
For Doug's question: maybe an ostrich? It has the ability to become invincible for a few seconds at the cost of sight and hearing.
JP up to shenanigans.
That sort of thing is already in the game, it’s the pigeon role
What about a crow? It would be like vulture except you can't eat bodies. It would be a goose role.
to Doug's Question: The Owl role, either killer or neutral - after the owl kills the body will be immediately eaten, but before you can kill again you have 'throw up' the body.
Like how Owls throw up the non-digestible parts of their meal; bones , skin/fur, etc...
Times Beefus had it coming

Doug's Quest:
Tunnel Duck: Dig your own vent path (Can only be underground for 5 sec.) Moves like astral but blind and deaf and underground
Taxidermist Duck: Turn a body into a decoy (name tag and all)
Voodoo Goose: Can kill once for a blood offering to revive a player (while in play, ghosts cant see roles) [ Thor can tweak it ]
Road Runner Goose: Has a sprint ability
Mocking Bird Neutral: Has the ability of another players roll (after every roll call) Goal: Wins if one of the last 3-4 (whatever works)
Idk how many times per round the Raven would be allowed to do that.
i immediately thought, “oh god what’d he do this time”
To answer you Doug, I think a role where you can only kill through laying traps could be interesting
Or for a goose role, one where you can bounce back a kill onto the killers would be really cool, like gravy but it kills the person trying to kill rather than someone nearby and the only way to kill them is through sabotages like the boulder
Archeologist: a goose who can go to a body and in the meeting it’ll say if they were killed by mummy or not or maybe even by the specific role like sheriff or falcon or party etc
a cool new goose goose duck role would be like a reverse stalker, like if they are near other people they can force everyone to target them, being able to act like a Canadian but as an offensive role since the person who unalives them would instantly report it, but itd be an activated ability with a 5 second use and a 30 second cool down if its not used
LOL NOT TAI'S SCREAM GETTING CUT OFF THAT WAS HILARIOUS
Also Pooki must've been in the new Fast and Furious movie because of his belief in winning as a family
When doesn't JP ruin a goose goose duck video? Yeah! Hot Cheetos!
For Doug’s question:
A role that acted like gravy, but exclusively for good killing rolls. If a bad or neutral role killed them, it would kill the killer as well
i was crocheting while watching this so i dont really remember what all happened but i know i chuckled a few times so yay
A role that disables the sabos would be fun.
I think it would kinda be like this
Once the ducks activate the sabotages you can Deactivate them but only once per round
they really should add a penguin role thats evil and freezes people and after a certain amount of time the frozen goose dies but also add a pheonix role that can thaw out the penguins victims before they die
It has been a long day and I am so excited to be able to watch this video!!! I look forward to when I can enjoy your content.
New role: scrambler, a duck who can shuffle the votes of two people but can’t see who has what votes so it’s a fifty fifty good or bad
The debate on ross's hair is like the short while of jorts vs the mullet, and it's kinda funny.
I think as a new role, you can choose a different role every meeting
New role:
The king.
Their votes count as double, so if they vote for someone, if it were a tie or something, it could break the tie
That last round killed me, though. 😂
Penguin and it makes the floor slippery so if it's triggered any geese or ducks could end up frozen solid or slid to another trap that gets triggered but it has a 29 second cool down and can only be used once after meetings
QOTD: Mockingbird: it has the ability of another random role; which role it is changes every meeting
The chicken role, when attacked they teleport away from the danger and they can do it once a round
It can only be done 3 times and those who are switch wont know who they switched with
Max baiting that kill with $500 was pure gold
Honestly I cannot sleep without your videos. However now when I watch your videos I get tired and my brain says “it’s bedtime.”
At this point max is making his own personal crimes list for JP he has done in GGD and even making clauses in his name lol
Doug they should should do a PolteryGeist role would be cool. Basically how it works is the Poltry can fix sabotages the ducks turn on!
For Doug’s question: nothing special but a peacock would be cool, they would get two votes during meetings
necromancer:
It's a duck role
it can't directly kill but it can inspect bodies If it's a body of a duck then it gains that duck ability for the round
and if its a goose it resurrects the goose for a round but the goose can't talk
if it inspects a neutral the necromancer dies
Duck idea:
The Pacock 🦚
Its ability is like that of a sharif, but after finding out the person is bad, they are able to stun them for five seconds (like an animal being stunned by the sight of apeacocks feathers)
Not sure if this one has been thought about but, I think a Parrot role would be cool. It could be a case of either kill and take their role or just steal their role and leave them a goose
Look, Jerry may have shot the sheriff, but he didn't shoot the deputy!
new role idea: Infected. this role is tied with vulture and if the vulture eats the infected
body the vulture then dies
I don’t know if you’ll see this but I’ve been around for a hot minute and just wanted to thank you for how authentic your content feels. It makes me feel super cozy, and I just wanted to appreciate you for that! :)
Just woke up perfect timing lol
I have a role idea, will it happen? very likely not
Yandere-duck, has a kill cooldown of 40 seconds, when close to there *random* soulmate the yandere is about to kill a maximum of 3 in 1 kill depending on the distance to there 'partner', if the yandere's soulmate dies (they can not kill there soulmate) the yandere will have 10 seconds of a cooldown free kill before they explode
Edit: boy i hope this stays because i want people to see my idea
Maybe a sparrow role where they move slightly faster.
And the gravy round was very funny
To Doug's question: new role
Crow: can pick sides between ducks or goose's
If on duck side: it works like a vulture but gives ducks the win
If on goose side: it can scout in the fog (aka duck fog) and gets red dots in the screen when a bad role goes in.
There should be a dove role that is Allowed to revive one duck every game
Make a role that can give a small group of people zero vision for a few seconds for like a neutral killin role but only usuable once a game
I actually have a role
The parrot can swap roles with someone once per round
True neutral role
Phoenix- another mischief role, essentially an arsonist who can be revived once per game.
24:37 the perfectly cut scream😂
Doug, like people are saying, a peacock role would be amazinggggg but I think a swan role would be cool :) it starts off as an “ugly duckling” and if someone is killed around them it automatically makes them report it and their mic is quieter than the rest during meetings. As the game continues they report less bodies and instead it shows an arrow for where the most recent person was killed around them and their mic gets louder than the rest :)
So basically a worse Canadian?
