My wife is suuuuuper sensitive to scents - to the point that I’ve had to stop using certain hair products because it sets her off, so forget about perfumes - so I’m watching this with heart eyes and longing sighs. 😂 Even though I’m on a permanent no buy, I still love hearing about other people’s favo(u)rites, so thank you for this. Happy weekend, all!
JM Wood Sage and Sea Salt is *chef's kiss*. it's one of my go-to scents in the summer when i don't want anything too heavy. i tend to go for more fresh and fruity scents (Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil and Hanae Mori Butterfly EDP are my faves alongside the Jo Malone) in the summer, but my go-to scent in the cooler months is Glossier You. it's just such a warm and cozy scent like a hug or a soft sweater.
I just recently started to get into perfumes and my favorite has been the Dolce Gabbana The Only One. It’s the perfect mixture of sweet and warm. Perfect for fall. Love this video, Jamie! I added a few of these to my wishlist.
I'm big on fragrance especially when I get to hear about some different brands. My favorite is Replica By the Fireplace. I've been trying out some indie brands and there was a limited edition scent by a brand called sixteen 92 called Highgate Cemetery (earl grey, lavender, juniper) that I loved. Wished it was a little longer lasting though.
Jo Malone is hands down the best ever! It smells like heaven and people always comment on the scent. I actually picked this up because you had mentioned it some time ago. Thank you for the recommendation.
Love this type of video!! With so many new cream bronzers available, I would love to see an updated video of you ranking your cream bronzers. And a video ranking cream/liquid highlighter would also be great 💕
Vanille Incensee is my signature scent! Another perfume I love is by Acqua De Parma - Bergomotto Di Calabria. It is such a lovely citrusy scent, bright and juicy and very feminine. ♥️
You might be anosmic to the chemicals or you might have bought a fake. By the Fireplace is generally considered to be super super long lasting compared to the rest of its line.
@@heythere8917 ugh that’s too bad. You might just be anosmic to it. It’s the same for me for Bacarrat 450 - it’s a beast mode perfume yet I can’t smell it at all.
Love fragrance content! My forever favourites are Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Tom Ford Black Orchid, and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. Really want to try Rose 31, seems very much up my alley.
Thanks so much for doing this Jamie, I have a new found love and appreciation for scents in my sixties. Also I’ve realized my taste has changed in that deeper more sophisticated and complex scents now appeal to me whereas throughout most of my adulthood fresh clean fragrances were my choice. Tom Ford’s ombré leather was the game changer. I’m not exactly sure how that would be classified, strong maybe, as I’m still learning but undaunted despite always being intimidated in the past.
Jamie, I screamed when I saw the title of this video in my feed!! I'm a total fragrance nerd!! Have you ever been to Etiket Boutique? I believe it's in Montreal, and they sell some of my absolute fav indie perfume brands. There are two perfumes from the brand Imaginary Authors that I think you'd love- Cape Heartache, which smells like being in a magic cedar/pine fairy ring, with maybe a few wild strawberry bushes growing around you. That fragrance seriously makes time stop for me. The other is Memoirs of a Trespasser, which is my perfect vanilla/wood fragrance. It has some myrrh and clay notes that make it so unique and standout. It's very strong, and I love mixing it with tobacco-type fragrances. Thank you so much for posting this video!! I love it! I'm also curious to know if you use any diffusers or candles in your home (congrats on the new place!) and what your favourites are?
Very nice selection, and Rose 31 is beautiful! It's one of the only florals I'd wear because it's so smooth and woody, and not overly floral. Day to day, I don't always like strong fragrances, so I'll go for something like Molecule 01 (just iso e super), or Milky Musk from Parle Moi de Parfum. It's an understated, but really delicious creamy sandalwood. You kind of have to be into the creamy, lactonic fragrances to enjoy that one, but that's my favorite category.
Honestly Jamie, I'm not even into perfumes but man the way you talk through everything and explain each one... I'm hooked, I love it. too bad I'm too broke to buy any of these right now 😹
Rose 31 + Another 13 is my signature they go so well together, also Vanille Insensé was a life changing discovery for me! I love that we have similar taste in fragrance!
I think it’s so interesting how everyone perceives scents so differently. I had a sample of Rose 31 and my bf and I thought it was suuuper overpowering and spicy, he begged me to wash it off. I also think the original Chloë fragrance is quite fresh but strong (it almost stings, I find it quite sharp and I gave my bottle away because it was making me nauseous) and Santal 33 is one of my everyday fragrances. I think it’s woody and strong but not in that sweet heavy way, you can just smell the woodiness very well. It actually gets fresher on me throughout the day. The smell reminds me of an expensive leather jacket.
Yeah, perfumes are such a personal thing. I tried Baccarat rouge in a store, because everyone was raving about it and I hated it. I had to wash my winter coat, because the scent was staying on the sleeve forever and I could not stand it, it gave me headaches….
Love the vid🤩 My faves are….. Replica Coffee Break and By the Fireplace Philosophy Pure Grace Aerin Ikat Jasmine Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Bobbi Brown Beach Clean Warm Cashmere Ariana Grande Cloud
I'm usually into fresh and sweet/citrusy scents but I really wanted to find a warm scent for Fall and Winter. I had heard a lot of good things about Replica's By the Fireplace and it changed my mind about warm/smokier scents. It has become one of my favorite.
I rotate between 3 fragrances Sailing Day - Replica is my sweet/fresh Sea Daffodil - Jo Malone is my softer/floral Hypnotizing Fire - The Harmonist is my deep/sexy/dark
So happy you did this video. Thanks for the recs! I’m obsessed with replica scents. By the fireplace is my go to for winter and beach walk for summer. But my new favorite from them that I never hear anyone talk about is under the lemon trees! It’s so fresh and lovely and somehow still has a nice warm undertone. Very unique scent
I’ve waiting for this video for soooo long 🥹🥹🥹🥹 I love hearing about other peoples favorite fragrances since I am a fragrance lover ( a picky one though ) A few of my absolute favs are Glossier - You Pinrose - Pillowtalk Poet Tom Ford - Lost Cherry YSL - Black Opium Nuit Blanche MAC - Crème de Nude
I love perfume content so much! My favorite categories are citrusy-green, woody, and floral aquatic, but I truly appreciate every category except maybe for sweet gourmands because I live in a very hot country
I usually don’t reveal my fragrance favs because I don’t want too many people to smell the same as me (am I alone in that???) but one of my favorites to use for layering is Bee from Ellis Brooklyn, such a unique layering scent because it is honey based.
Bee is so nice! It reminds me of the MAC Naked Honey collection from way back when. I have to be in a very specific mood to wear Bee, but when I do, it really hits the spot.
I’m on the opposite side of the spectrum and I like my perfumes dark, decadent and mysterious! All time favourites are Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille and Noir de noir but I also ADORE MFK Oud Satin Mood!! Not a citrus person whatsoever!😝 Love perfume videos!! 🫶🏻❤️❤️❤️ Keep them coming Jamie!🥰✨
Oh yes! Le Labo Rose 31 is gorgeous. I also love Chloe, Guerlain Mandarine Basilic and Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet. Starting to get into Baccarat Rouge 540 and Mon Guerlain, but citrus sweet are my favorites.
Loved this vid! Le Labo Rose 31 is also one of my faves and is so nostalgic for me because it reminds me of my wedding day. I also love Penhaligon’s Vaara perfume which has rose notes but is grounded with sandalwood and musky base notes! Not perfume related but the transitions remind me of like opening credits to a thriller tv show LOL
One floral perfume that is lovely is Good Girl Gone Bad by Killian. I find that the name doesn't match the scent because based on the name, I thought it would be a sexy nighttime scent, but it's actually very ladylike and classy. There's an osmanthus note in it, which gives it a slight apricot/peach vibe. I recommend 😉
I am all about fresh, clean, crisp and citrusy perfumes and my all time favorite for the last 10+ years has been Dior Escale a Portofino, very closely followed by Loewe Miami and Chloe Neroli…
One of my favorite scents that I'm not sure anybody ever talks about is a throwback because it's been around for a long time is Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. It holds a special place in my heart because it was the first fragrance I ever liked. I remember going through fragrance samples in magazines as a kid and they all smelled the same. But this one stood out. And as an adult it was the first fragrance I ever bought.
I love how fragrance can transport you to memories from your past or even daydreams of places you’ve never been, I love Blackberry and Bay by Jo Malone because it smells like my childhood. My favourites are Jo Malone’s Dark Amber and Gingerlily and Elizabeth and James’ Nirvana Rose, I get compliments every time I wear them.
oh my god, i'm about to change your life jamie. based on your preferred scents, you NEED to try gucci bloom ambrosia di fiori. the orris and tuberose mixed with the jasmine last all day long and i swear you will become obsessed with how you smell. i've been through like 3 bottles of it.
JAMIE!!! I’ve literally been craving for perfume video from you for so long - this is perfect. Thank you so so much, I’d love to see some ”Summer/winter favourite fragrances” in the future as well 🥰🥰
Dear Jamie, since you like Another 13, Santal 33, Super Cedar...I would reccommend to you two excellent molecular perfumes: Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 & Juliette has a Gun Not a perfume. 😍Chloe eau de parfum is my signature scent since 2009. and recently I discovered Parfums de Marly Delina la Rosee. It is more fresher and aquatic version of Chloe, more suitable for summer. Try it. P.S. Great video and perfume collection. 💜
Yes yes yes!!!! I started collecting perfurmes to mark a milestone or a place when travelling. Thank you for sharing. I am also not a Rose/floral fan but Maison Francis Kurkdijan A'la Rose (also the h'omme version) is on point. If you can find it, try to get your nose on it.
@@janicehickey5052 I did actually ! It trully is amazing but unfortunately on me this was very very heavy and borderline headache inducing :( But i might revisit it in the middle of winter to see if the cold makes it more bearable 😄
i keep feeling like i need to start wearing perfume more, perfect timing! also i love your hair in this, i have a similar hair type- hope you can do a video soon on how you style!
Impulsively purchased Rose 31 and Another 13 after watching this video 😂 I loved this video, you should definitely do more fragrance reviews/videos in the future
It’s very interesting Jo Malone wood sage and sea salt is a summer fragrance for you! On me it gives me more of a sea salt caramel vibe and it’s a total fall fragrance!
My current faves are Sunset Riot by All Saints and Kayali Eden Juicy Apple 😍. The first reminds me of the scent of California and the second like a super fresh fruity delicious shampoo.
I just came back from Paris and I discovered Le Labo there. I am OBSSESSED with these fragrances. I bought Lys 41 and it is truly a special scent. Even my boyfriend likes it and he is not a perfume kind of guy. Needless to say, I will add more of this brand to my collection.
I get the exact same memories from the Chloe Rose perfume...it was the only fragrance I wore for yearsss! Giorgio Armani Si is now my go-to for the Spring and Summer and I love the Replica Coffee Break scent for Autumn/Winter 😍
My new found love is Replica Autumn Vibes, it’s woodsy so more appropriate for fall and it makes me look forward for fall! I also love Atelier Cologne Pomelo Paradis for my everyday scent. Love the video as always ♥️
Atelier cologne has pulled out of North America and I'm devastated as it's my fave brand! Vanille Insensee is my number one scent of all time. Enjoyed this video for some new options to explore!❤
I was looking for a straight vanilla fragrance before, and I remember you mentioning in a video that you picked up the Nemat oil at Whole Foods or something. I tried it, loved it, and have used it for years now. Watching this video, I feel like we have very similar tastes in fragrance. Will definitely be trying out some of these recommendations!
Loved this video! My favourites are Jo Malone Orange Blossom, Dipthyque Eau Duelle, Ellis Brooklyn Super Amber, Gucci ll, Dior Addict and Madison Louis Marie’s Bois de Balincourt
I love watching perfume videos so much and I think you did this perfectly! Hope to see some more in the future. I’m really intrigued about the Jo Malone scent, need to try that out 🤗
My all time signature scent is Bvlgari Omnia Chrystalline. In loose order some other favourites: Ménage a trois fromZarko, coco mademoiselle from Chanel, aventus for her from Creed and as a more masculine scent I love Noveau Monde from Louis Vuitton - bought that for my Boyfriend just so that I can use it. Based on Jamies recommendation I also like to wear Byredo Super cedar in the winter time (and by the way I also just love the Safran Candle because of her) and I also love by the fireplace from replica in that season.
I think you might like Hard Leather by Laurent Mazzone Parfums. It is also a polarizing scent. I think it depends on the wearer's chemistry. It smelled great on my ex as well as myself. Muskier notes were more prominent on me, but it did not smell bad like what some people comment on fragrantica or reddit. I have heard this is not for the faint of heart, but I really enjoy it and I think you can get away with wearing it in many different settings (depending on how much you use). It also has great lasting power. You may also be interested in his other perfumes as well. They're very unique and complex, and they have never given me a headache, which happens with many perfumes.
The Vanilla Woods oil roller by 7 Virtues is what I switched to when people kept calling my Vanilla Incensee “powdery”, it adds just the perfect depth of wood that I was missing
I feel like I got David Lynch jump scared at 6:34 lmao. I have been looking for perfume recc's, I'm so picky so I always want to know what I should smell next time I go into Sephora!
Chanel Chance collection has some really great perfumes for floral + fresh scents - Chance Eau Tendré + Chance Eau Fraîche are my absolute faaaaves 😍 not to mention the Coco Mademoiselle Parfum!
I may try Rose 31 by Le Labo...sounds wonderful and I love that fragrance house. I have Another 13, Santal 33, and The’Noir 29...Do you feel like Rose 31 can be year round or is it just spring/summer? Thanks for this video! ❤️ You must try Byredo Bal D’ Afrique if you haven’t. It’s a stunning fresh fragrance that is very unique.
My absolute favorite is BR540. People are chasing me even next day and asking what I am wearing. It’s amazing. I love instant crush by Mancera and Intense Cafe by Montale. From fresh and summery my all time favorite is Eclat D’Arpege by Lanvim.
So funny, I was peeking into your “older” vids and saw this a mite late but still. I just ordered multiple decants from ScentSplit in the U.S., i.e. 20 or so fragrances, I know, nuts, and Santal 31, the Wood Jo Malone and one of the Byredo (Pulp however) are in there. It should be an interesting 4-5 month experiment 😂
Such a lovely video! I am a perfume lover from the heart. If you have not tried Ylang 49 from Le Labo, you should try it. And lately I’ve been really into Ormonde Jayne fragrances. They’re gorgeous. If you haven’t tried the brand you can give it a shot💚 Especially Ormonde Jayne-Woman edp is really unique and I think you would enjoy it.
Perfume content is my favourite. So happy for a Jamie Paige perfume list!

If you haven't, try smelling Lys 41 from Le Labo. It's a white floral (jasmine and tuberose) with a creamy vanilla sort of hint to it. So good!
Great background, great lighting. You look so good !
thanks so much!
Loved this video! My favourites are Jo Malone Orange Blossom, Dipthyque Eau Duelle, Ellis Brooklyn Super Amber, Gucci ll, Dior Addict and Madison Louis Marie’s Bois de Balincourt
You must get to know the brand Frédéric Malle, it's a dream for any fragrance lover. Try Portrait of a Lady or Synthetic Jungle ❤
Love this video! Also already love like 70% of your collection ❤
Atelier is my favorite line, but I was under the impression they ceased shipping to the US and Canada a while ago.
The background couldn’t be more apt for this video ✨
what a fun video ...and so well spoken
Loved this video
Going to have to check out Nar. Sounds yummy!!
Rose 31 is the best perfume I’ve ever used - the cumin makes it so unique I think
yes!! it's seriously the best
FINALLY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO!
YEAY! I'm waiting for that since ages! ♥
My absolute favorite is BR540. People are chasing me even next day and asking what I am wearing. It’s amazing. I love instant crush by Mancera and Intense Cafe by Montale. From fresh and summery my all time favorite is Eclat D’Arpege by Lanvim.
hi Jamie! I thoroughly enjoy your video, thanks for sharing. may I know how do you layer the Nemat vanilla musk oil with your perfume? 😄 thank you!
My favorite perfume is Another 13 by Le Labo
You introduced me to the Nemat Vanilla Musk Oil and I love it! Thank you :)
britney spears midnight fantasy is my day to day scent, i also love versace crystal noir
You explained the moment of Wood sage and sea salt perfectly...I imagine it the same as you :) Interesting.
hahha amazing
Such a lovely video! I am a perfume lover from the heart. If you have not tried Ylang 49 from Le Labo, you should try it. And lately I’ve been really into Ormonde Jayne fragrances. They’re gorgeous. If you haven’t tried the brand you can give it a shot💚 Especially Ormonde Jayne-Woman edp is really unique and I think you would enjoy it.
So basically with the Jo Malone you’re in the movie Somethings Gotta Give?
Do you have any recommendations for gourmand fragrances? I know it's not really your thing but I love them 😊
So enjoyed you content, beautifully presented. Thank you😊
Love this ❤️. Another great video Jamie!
I loveee this Jamie!
Can you tell us what lip color you are wearing? It's lovely!
Will you please please please do an update video on your fave perfumes of 2024?
Dude your nose looks so good! Are you like super happy?
That was so interesting! 🤩
