Nick wants a family (wife and child) and wants to live here in the states where he knows people, has his entire life, etc. Malena doesn't want at least 1 of those things. Nick feels that these are non-negotiables for him. He wanted them with Malena but you can't make someone want the same things as you. Therefore, you have to go try to find someone that can. At his age he realizes that he needs to meet that person relatively soon to properly "vet" them for real long-term compatibility before marriage and kids. Also understanding that it's concerning when you have money and resources that someone might latch onto you for the WRONG reasons. I'm similar age to Nick and in a similar phase in life. I simply wont date someone who does not want kids somewhat soon. I don't want to be too old for when I have kids. I want to be able to play sports with my kid when he/she is a teen. If I have a kid at 42 for example, when they're 15 i'd be nearly 60 years old.

This is interesting. I'm only commenting because they're putting it out there but this feels like a very distinct difference between streamers and youtubers as they mature in this influencer spaces. It feels like youtubers have(?) the option of stepping away or cutting back on their careers to further their personal lives while streamers have to make (or their partners have to make) a decision to choose between their career and relationships. The sample set is small and this is purely anecdotal on my part but between 2019 and 2024 that I've had my eyes in this space, I've seen more (non-streaming) creators step away from their youtube channels to focus on their personal relationships (or burn-out which would affect their personal relationships) but then in the streamer side, many relationships have just out-right ended. I understand that both things are happening in both categories all the time obviously but strictly speaking as a person watching both spaces as my sample size, it feels like a trend. It feels like something newer streamers should keep in mind on how to navigate if they plan to enter this space. This could all be nothing as people break up and many of these people are young and that's very normal.

There is a new channel that does it, it's like Nmp Live or something like that, maybe not full VODs but puts up quite long segments 30 minutes to even an hour
