I can totally relate with animals and their pain. It is so hard to tell vets that they are struggling. My cat has bad arthritis and has his bad days for sure. The cold does not help. My Dad’s dog suffered with hip problems too and Mom used to add glucosamine chondroitin to his food and it really helped him for quite a while. I hope you get Turbs sorted out. Animals really try to hide pain naturally and I am glad you are a tuned in fur parent. Sending healing your way. 💟
We had some similar experiences w our dog. It was rly upsetting to hear “it’s just arthritis” but turns out after seeing a specialist, she had a torn ACL! I’m so glad we kept pressing. Keep calling around, see if anyone is doing virtual consults where you can send in videos of her.
I’m really sorry to hear that about Turbo🤍 I am a vet tech in Arizona and recently my German shepherd was diagnosed with Valley Fever (common in southwestern areas) one of the symptoms is limping, so maybe keep that in mind. Since covid started- the vet med field has been EXTREMELY BUSY. We are all around overworked, understaffed, and get screamed at daily for not being able to see every single pet. We understand the frustration, we are frustrated too and our mental health has been very fragile. We have a mile long wait list, and are booked out with appointments weeks in advance. I work in a general practice, so yes it would be wiser to choose to go to an ER instead, but just know they are even more busy. Just something to keep in mind that these animal hospitals aren’t trying to be rude or they “don’t care about your pet” we just simply do not have the capacity to see every single pet, trust me, we wish we could! 🤍
my German shepherd torn her ACL just from getting old/her weight and we couldn't afford surgeey. So now we give her meds from the vet and also cbd/hemp joint chewies from Amazon! We have tried a few but she seems to like them a lot and although she walks with difficulty, she has gotten more comfortable at the very least
I’m so sorry about Turbo, my boxer is 13 and having similar issues it’s primarily his legs and low back. A combo of CBD, massage and a daily exercise routine given by a physical therapist vet really seemed to help him improve. There’s also water therapy and a laser there’s that I’ve hear good things about. Wishing her the best 💞

Hi Katy! You’re make up video was great and so relaxing. We are experiencing the same with our boxer. He also started to have seizures as well. We have been to the doctors, emergency room, and have had numerous tests and medications. It’s heartbreaking, so I understand how you’re feeling. We had to call numerous doctors and emergency rooms because no one was able to see him. We had to drive about 45 min away at 1 am to finally find someone to help our dog. Hoping and praying for Turbo ❤️
Hi Katy! We’ve had the same problem with our Doggo and what worked for her was a lot of walks (even though we thought she needed to relax more, but actually no) with arthritis you need to move a lot to maintain the flexibility. Then some medication which I hope Turbo will get soon, too! My dog’s so so much better now, just like she was before that happened , of course they are getting older and that’s so heartbreaking, but know that there is a cure sometimes and just believe in her, she’ll get well soon! We had a similar issue with German shepherd mix. I initially thought he hurt himself running around because it was the day after 4th of july so thought maybe the fireworks scared him and he was running around. We noticed the next day he was limping. But he didn't grimace or anything when we tried touching his leg and paw. Again, thinking hip because of his breed. Took to the vet gave us some anti-inflammatory and he did pretty good til we were done with the meds. Took him back and since we live in AZ, valley fever is very common here, so we got some blood work and xray and he had developed valley fever in his femur. Its been 3 years and we finally are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with his blood levels, almost off meds. Luckily caught it early enough, I think it was 3 or 4 months into him limping that we finally confirmed his diagnosis andthe valley fever didn't get into his nervous system. And it was almost immediately from taking meds he was able to walk again. Hope turbo gets better fast!
Been dealing with the same thing with my bulldog. Its extremely frustrating. I had to get in with a completely new vet. Sometimes you just have to trust your mom instincts. If you know its worse than what you're bring told, trust your gut is right. Bc it always is. I hope Turbo gets some relief very soon!
Our black lab just tore her ACL. We’re taking her in today to vet/surgeon for consultation. Vet that was recommended first, was booked up until February 22! It’ll heal incorrectly on its own by then! So I understand your frustration!

Poor Turbo. I had a german shepard mix with horrible hip issues and we gave her glucosamine for dogs (you can get some on Amazon) and it was amazingly effective. She went from not being able to climb stairs to running around the front yard. Worth a try :)

We have had similar issues with our 15 year old dog. He has an awesome vet. He got like 5 kinds of meds including pain medication. If I were you I would go to another vet for a second opinion. It took us like 3 or 4 different vets to find a good office in the city we moved to. It’s devastating to think our dogs don’t last as long as we do. 😢. Hope your lil bb feels better and you find a good vet that can help him. Turbo❤️🐶😇

I have been giving her Dasaquin DM tablets for a long time and it helps her a lot. She also gets salmon oil twice a day and that seems to help too. I can say if she doesn’t get Dasaquin, she gets stiff. I really hope Turbo gets better ☺️

I work at a veterinary clinic. We have a doctor that does laser therapy on joints that has saved many dogs. I definitely recommend looking into that kind of treatment. It could possibly help. I’m so sorry to hear about Turbo🥺

My dog has arthritis in her back legs and I went natural with doggie turmeric chewables. It works pretty well for her. She can now run and jump, when she was previously limping.
My doggy had arthritis, and he was over weight too because he had thyroid cancer and other problems :(. So we started feeding him a mix of dog friendly veggies mixed with his food so he could lose some weight and help with his arthritis a little. And also getting him a really nice, supportive bed that was easy for him to get in and out of. He passed away of old age late last year but lived a very long and happy life ♥️
Katy-check out Adequan/Cosequin. The injectable. It’s for horses and dogs-does great things for mobility. Hope Turbo starts feeling better and you figure it out. Also look into cold laser therapy.
Course I loved your video, new tip I learnt was the soft bronzing on inner cheeks and inner eyes towards start of brows. Loved that outcome on u. Definately be tryin that tomorrow.
Try asking your vets about adequan! It’s a shot that I give my cat worth arthritis (it’s meant for dogs but can also be prescribed to help cats) and it helps her a ton!! Also they can do acupuncture. Hopefully turbo starts feeling better soon. 💕💕

i thought i was about to watch my childhood dog pass on christmas. she just turned 14 and the doctors said her heart and lungs are great. but she has bad days and i think she got overwhelmed on christmas and her back legs would not move. my brothers both started crying and i was trying not too because of my makeup but it was so hard to watch. i hope turbo gets better and feels better! love you❤️
