Amazing analysis of the initial problem, then measuring up and ordering the required hardware, followed by very skilled reproduction of the coils, and then insertion of all coils into selected beds and finally soldering the parts and testing of refurbished motor. Just like watching brain surgery. Very skilled workers.

Considering the conditions you have to work under and the limited equipment at your disposal you guys did a great job.
I was very impressed with the armature winder. He is obviously a craftsman who takes pride in his work.
While I noticed a few things I would suggest you could improve upon I humbly give you one tip now. When soldering a commutator you should always do it below horizontal. That way any excess solder will drop to the ground rather than pool in behind the commutator, which can cause a short circuit.
With that being said, greetings from an old retired Australian armature winder.

Congratulations and well done. To be able to comprehend the logic of such a lap wave wound motor one needs to be mentally and physically very high on the list of various abilities. To be able to risk and deal with such work where so much investment is made in copper, insulation, time and craftsmanship and the final product need to work and to be guaranteed, not many people in our society can reach that level of facing what is required. I feel that such young people are usually underestimated in their value to society, and this is the reason the western youths do not want to take up such work. These young gentlemen are very intelligent, but in one or two generations they will realize that their own society does not value them as much as it does the social professionals who project emotional tricks on society. These young gentlemen we see in this video will, in a generation or two will tell their own children to take up social vociferous or financial professions and they will be following in the footsteps of what men and women are doing in the western world.
What we see in this video is what the western world did about 80 years ago when craftsmanship was valued and the people concerned highly respected, as it was not the money earned that counted then, but the pride of work and the skills one had. Now it is no longer like that in the western world, and soon, in about two or three generations, such work will vanish from Pakistan India, and China and will be going over to Africa. That is what history shows, in developing countries, where a disposable society is created, craftmanship and producing a guaranteed product will change into giving a vociferous service, and after that, many young people will be opting to work in finances, as accounts and financial orientations. and social work, as a society, seems to appreciate what it thinks it knows and feels, and that is usually emotions and basic insticts, which is what the west is investing in, producing emotions through unguaranteed services.
What we see in this video is a taste of old history when a person was proud of his skills and not so proud to be the owner and operator of what he can buy with the money he can earn in any manner, ways the past western craftsman did not know of and they did not have the means to project it to the public as we see in this video. People we see in this video build empires and the consumable disposal vociferous society with vociferous unguaranteed services destroy and depreciates itself eventually as the assets it build upon are soft and not so solid.

@@majedaelectricworkshop Your work on the motor was brilliant and so you deserve to be respected and highly praised for it.
Please try to improve on your testing equipment and safety measures. The variac and rectifier to supply the fields can take the working current, but the variac used for the armature cannot provide the working current, and those extra-large diodes connected as a full-wave rectifier could do with a proper heat sink even though the variac cannot produce enough current to affect those powerful diodes. The simple basic test run that you conducted will never heat such a heavy motor handling 175 Kilowatts! Do cover all terminals that have the dangerous voltages you are using. Be careful what you show on your videos as some issues are better not shown unless one improves on them.
The children who are shown at 45:27 and at 45:33 are wonderful children but innocent of the danger that exists, and should not be allowed to be in a place where the voltage of 291 Volts is present and the equipment is on the floor as shown at 51:03. -51:09.
Full 100% for the winding of the armature but try and increase the quality of other issues shown in the videos.
Technical note,
A static balancing machine can easily be made to set that balancing plate shown on the shaft.
A dynamic balancing machine can also be made with available accelerometers and a stroboscope to synchronize the location of the unbalance in the rotation.
The field coils and the interpolates could have been given more attention and better presented, which will give your company a better reputation now that you are publishing all you do on videos. Do not show and publish issues that may lose you marks in this competitive world. Show your best issues and do your best to improve what needs improving.
