I appreciated you doing these letter tutorials. I have a few more Christmas presents (yes, we celebrate late) and they'll help me out a lot. I did a happy dance when I searched for crochet letters and found them all!
I am so excited to get this baby afghan finished. All the letters need to be sewed into place. And because of your videos I was able to make MASON 2019 on his afghan! Thank you so much! You are totally awesome!
Hi mam I made all alphabet and ur tutorial has helped me a lot. Thanks for this. Only N was bit difficult. But I made some changes and tried to make in Z pattern.. It really worked..
this is perfect! my boyfriends one month old cousin's name is Kinsley. ive only got to wait until you make the letter I. thank you so much for these videos :)
I agree with everyone else. The 9 thing doesn't leave a stitch. And either way, the finished N leaves a longer ended than the other ones. I love your other vids tho.
Merci beaucoup pour ce tuto. J’ai réussi la letter « K » grâce à vous 👍. Je vais maintenant l’adapter sur le cardigan baby au crochet que je viens de réaliser. Vous avez une astuce pour coudre la letter ?
I got lost with letter N when you chained 12 and dc on the 3rd ch from the hk and left with one more ch to do 2 dc? I don;t have 1 ch left after the 9 dc and I tried repeating it and I still can't get an extra 1 more ch left to do 2 double crochet in it. Is this right?
Elizren You're right it doesn't, which is really confusing me as I clearly have a st left in the video and count all the sts suggested, you can amend the pattern to just working into 8 instead of 9 while I figure this out.
Elizren I am so glad that I am not the only one that noticed that.. I kept pulling then out and doing it over and over and over again.. So what I did is chained 13 instead of 12 and it worked that fine and then when I got to the 10th stitch I did 3 DC in the stitch and it looked fine.. Thank you so much for all the letters. Thanks to you HappyBerry Crochet, I have been able to make a few very nice baby gifts and birthday gifts.
Jacqueline Harris To block, you can try a couple of things, either a quick iron that's not too hot, or fix your letter into place with some pins, get the letter wet and let it try in place.
My mother lives in a retirement home and has to put the words “in” or “out” on the outside door. I have made letters following your tutorials but now I need to figure out how to hang them. What would you suggest I adhere the letters to?
+Ambience24 z You can either use an iron and give your letters a quick steam, or you can pin your letter into place and gently wet your project, let it try pinned in place and it should help to keep its shape.
Just curious, if I wanted to make the N bigger (as in wider), how could I do this? Also I would just like it bigger in general, by doubling the math on everything will I still get the same finished product? I thought I would but I'm having a bit of difficulty
I need the letters Z, U, and T because I am expecting and those letters are what I am missing to finish my babies name please do those letters for me HappyBerry Crochet
I'm super confused by your math on the N... it makes no sense... you chain 12, do 1 DC in the 3rd chain from the hook and do 9 more after that... but you only have 9 left after that first DC...
+Liz Carter I have the same problem. The math just does not work. I agree with Krystal White that you need to chain 13. If you don't, then you should do 8 DC after the first DC.
Liz Carter that happened to me the first time as well Liz. Just do it again and it will make more sense. 9+3 does equal 12 and you could be missing the tiny little stitch in the end

These letters can have several uses. Thank you so much. Your directions were clear.
This letters help me with the Christmas stockings. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas 🎄⛄

Wonderful. Thank you. Much nicer than what I was trying. Good video and very clear instructions.
You need 13 chains for the second part of the N.
I thought I was the only one having trouble with that part.
Yeah, me too
which part?
at 20:27?
Hi mam I made all alphabet and ur tutorial has helped me a lot. Thanks for this. Only N was bit difficult. But I made some changes and tried to make in Z pattern.. It really worked..
GREAT INSTRUCTIONS. EVEN I CAN FOLLOW THEM. I REALLY APPRECIATE WHAT YOU DO.
Exceptional tutorial. So precise. Thank you

Thank you for this! I just wish the K wasn't facing inside out :/ but I learned to manipulate the turning part so I faced it the right side up way :)
Enjoying the alphabet, thank you. Is the last leg of the N done with back of the stitches showing at the front?
I love these tutorials a lot, they're really in depth and helpful
then i did these.....my N is AWFUL! lol! did it 3 times! on the fourth try, i kind of "winged it" and it still looks good! haha....YOU'RE AWESOME!
***** he he glad you like the tutorials!! :)
Ty so much for the letter videos!
Thank you! I have my K
Thanks

great addition to projects :D
Very nice
K worked great, had to make my own up for N as the last leg kept turning wrong side facing like the H did.
How i love your lettering ,however, do you do lower case letters
The reason why I like the letters to be 2 cm x 3 cm is because I'd like to put them on the sole of the baby crochet shoe. Thank you
SO USEFUL , Thanx !

Add a chain before you start dc’ing back.
Ditto
Hello my name is Johnte and I have a quick question. If I need to the N a little do I just increase my chains?
you have twelve chains and you double crochet into third chain and then 9 that doesn't leave a chain left
Elizren You're right it doesn't, which is really confusing me as I clearly have a st left in the video and count all the sts suggested, you can amend the pattern to just working into 8 instead of 9 while I figure this out.
cool anyway I just put three in the last one and mine came out cool and I blocked it already will upload a video I am so overdue for a video!

@@HappyBerryCrochet Did you work it out?
Having a hard time help and yes I’m left handed
How do you "block" the letters? I think that is what you said.... if not, what did you do to make the letters stiff and straight?
Jacqueline Harris To block, you can try a couple of things, either a quick iron that's not too hot, or fix your letter into place with some pins, get the letter wet and let it try in place.
Does anyone know of letter directions for Left handers? This doesn't work for us lefties, sad.
Thank you so much!
Can u do the alphabet's in lower case letters
I want to add for the captial closed on the video and I can understand easy because i am deaf.... that why... Thanks...

Do they have a left handed version. I’m confused
Tq so much
You got a beautiful hat on your picture. Did you make that one too? Can you download a video for that? Thank you to happy berry crochet
Yes, th-cam.com/video/BVDJqlecBBY/w-d-xo.html It is a pattern and review video.

how do you block to make the letters stiff? I hope that I am saying the correct terminology.
+Ambience24 z You can either use an iron and give your letters a quick steam, or you can pin your letter into place and gently wet your project, let it try pinned in place and it should help to keep its shape.
Thank you!!!
Nice
thank you!

Still curious on this....😶
Bigger hook and thread, or maybe two rows of double crochets for each section.
this letter k is turning up several centimeters shorter than the others for me how would I make it taller
Is it possible to make letters measuring 3 cm x 2 cm ?
This will be all messed up for a left handed crocheter. I thought it would be ok but it is not.
Gracias, me encanto, sería posible que tradujeras por escrito, tú ingles, saludos.
About how big would the letters be?
+Cara Amador Couple of inches or so.
thanks alotttt
I need the letters Z, U, and T because I am expecting and those letters are what I am missing to finish my babies name please do those letters for me HappyBerry Crochet
How will I make my letter bigger? I want it to be as big as a pillow
there is a channel called the crochet crowd they make letter pillows and numbets too!
Hope that i helped you❤
what size hook
16 or 60 chains to start the letter n?
16, but I thought it was 60 at first.
Hope that helped!🙂
💜🙌

+Liz Carter I have the same problem. The math just does not work. I agree with Krystal White that you need to chain 13. If you don't, then you should do 8 DC after the first DC.
I did it 3 times, thought I was going crazy, then realized it's just a mistake in the pattern. I chained 13 and it turned out fine.
Liz Carter I had the same problem
Liz Carter that happened to me the first time as well Liz. Just do it again and it will make more sense. 9+3 does equal 12 and you could be missing the tiny little stitch in the end
Same problem. Leaves me no stitch for the 2 DC in the supposed stitch after the ninth.
where did i go wrong
Lol, think you'll have to be more specific than that. :)
@Trashbin yh lol
what size needle H I j
She used a yarn needle...
me encanta pero sera posible en español
I got lost doing the K #lefthandedproblems
Doesn't work for me im left handed
when you get to 8 minutes you lose me. you have to be more specific
the last leg of the letter N is in the wrongside of the stitch
There is no wrong or right side in crochet, only preferences ;)
can u make mini N and Y please iam makeing a baby hat and i need a N and Y for the yankees
Cannot do the letter n
You need a 13 chain not 12
Αγαπητοι αυτα θελω να βλεπω
She lost me when she said turn for the K
If you watched the letter K tutorial there is a turn in it like the N for the legs. Its not really relevant to the N though
Ta
nevermind
Pretty confusing ay
Karissa Rainbow For beginners maybe, do stick at it or check out our beginner tutorials if you are new to crochet :)
Can you please do letters "I" "U" and "T"
