BlueRetro HW2 PS2 Slim internal installation - Methylene in action - POWER ON/OFF RESET Sound

Power ON:
Home on Dualshock4
Power OFF (on release):
L2 + R2 + OPTIONS + CROSS + PAD LEFT
RESET (on release):
L2 + R2 + OPTIONS + CROSS + PAD LEFT
Methylene allow you to remote turn ON/OFF Reset your console, and make installation inside your PS2 easier, including automatic port detection.

Just installed methalene :) loving it so far.
I can reset and power off the console with the key combo but i cant power it on.
The methalene led lights up and the cobtroller pairs but the console doesnt power on. Any ideas? Scph-79000

Thanks for your message! and I'm glad to see that someone has installed it on SCPH7900x!
hmmmm weird problem, in theory you just press a button and the console should start. I'll try to see with someone who has a SCPH790xx on hand to do a test.

Also BTW I think the description on the video may need fixing, same key combo for reset and power down

​@@Gusse Thanks for looking into it! I picked the 79000 to make the ultra slim, very happy with the result. I assume the point I soldered to was correct since it powers down and resets...

How is the speaker wired? Is it a flat speaker or one of those piezo ones?

you can use in theory what you want. I use flat speaker to keep compact (it's on top of esp32 near voltage regulator), and you can wire some old PC speaker and put where you want in the shell
