2001....dad was devastated with financial losses, left our home in Bangalore, moved to Jammu. Alien culture, unforgiving weather, staying in smallest house of my life "madrasi" taunts at school, terror attack in my school (army school kaluchak)....as a 12 yr old, life cudnt have been worse...then happened to watch this film on a vcd during a briefest visit to Bangalore. Magic happened. Watching this film filled me with indescribable joy..... watched it daily for over 3 years (not exaggerating). Hope came back, i wanted to experience the life portrayed in the film.....this movie is a big reason why I am thriving today as a successful professional.

I am Pakistani muslim, l listened tamil in UAE, for me it was very different and bit wierd. But man Bollywood copied many movies and songs from South Indian movies . Listening tamil song is very mesmerizing experience really very very very beautiful though I dont understand tamil, hindi version is nothing in front of tamil version ❤❤❤❤
