6:10 -- Understanding now that Roseanne was abused as a child, it's nice to see her looking out for this kid and having a genuine concern for his safety.
I worked on Roseanne the sitcom. First time not the reboot and she was a terror. Looking at her hair and Tom Arnold it seems to be around 1990 or so, not 1986.
You are correct! Ed McMahon & Dick Clark both referred to Tom Arnold as Roseanne's husband in this clip...they didn't marry until 1990, so this clip was DEFINITELY from no earlier than 1990, not the 1986 the title suggests.
Roseanne is a good person whos always been for the working person, and she was forward in touching subjects on lgbt, race. She went against everyone to have an uncensored lesbian kiss on her show. And they did her DIRTY over a tweet where she didn't even know the woman was black and was not racially charged.
Since Roseanne had a conservative stance, you can bet dollars to donuts that those on the left were laying in wait for any opportunity destroy her. (That's how they work.) In this case, it is unlikely that the tweet she made was even meant as "racist". But it doesn't matter. The left and most of the news media decided it was and gave it 24-7 breathless reporting, and the Hollywood elite left (many of whom didn't like her anyway) did the rest. I really do wonder how many people could survive that sort of scrutiny. Or why some have no scrutiny. The late Senator Robert Byrd, long time democratic senator from West Virginia, and a "former" KKK member who founded a chapter and achieved the high position of Exalted Cyclops, comes to mind. He could get away with it just by saying "it was a mistake". I mention that just in case anyone doubts there is a double standard.
It would be at least 1990 if she was married to Tom
I love the concern she had for that kid. I think she's a genuine good person. Roseanne Barr is a legend!
*LOL*

@@MemphisTiger And the presence of today's 6-feathered NBC bird would suggest thereto, as well.

This is from 1986? They said Roseanne Barr & Tom Arnold were married, but they didn't get married until 1990. 🤔

What show is this never seen it
TV's Bloopers And Practical Jokes. A Monday night staple during the 80s on NBC
Lol I wonder if this experience contributed to her decision to go vegan a few years later 😂
