Yeah that's weird given that Bubbie usually knows what the rules are. There are recommended pin placements but as long as it's on the green it's "legal".
the rules are kind of vague but there ARE rules for how to place the pin. Saying there's no such thing as an illegal pin is disingenuous as the USGA states they should not be placed on severe slopes and should be 4-5 paces onto the green. Idk if the pin in this video is violating those rules or not, but there are indeed rules.

Steve is fun because of his unpredictability, can go from shanking to 2000 Tiger shot on the same hole. Great group assembled, good variety of personalities.
I have a challenge idea: 1v1v1v1v1….. 18 holes For every par you get 2 points; birdie is 4 points; eagle 6… The interesting part would be that if you make bogey your points get cut in half or if you make double or worse your score gets reset to 0 and you have to start all over again. That means you have to play consistent. That could get a lot of plot twists during the game cause you could birdie 17 holes in a row and double the last one and end with 0 points. I think that could be so much fun to watch 😄
