- The 2024 European Parliament election was held in the European Union between 6th and 9th June. So me and my colleague, @17_broadcast, decided to collaborate and make this compliation! Also huge thanks to other participants (especially to EdSplat & 17Media), who helped with this video.

I had fun helping you with this collab and I'm happy by how it looks. It was a big pleasure to help. 💚

In the intro of the Italian TV you can also see some cities because on the same days there was also voting for the municipal elections in some cities such as Florence, Bari, Perugia, Prato, Cagliari and Bergamo
Hey, great compilation and it shows how much these broadcasters have or haven’t modernised the intros. The last one (SVT) was for me the best: Scandinavian design at its slickest! But you credited Slovenia without including its intro. I was expecting Markíza or JOJ from Slovakia but the next one wasn’t from Slovenia either; it was from Spain!
Too bad SRG SSR and NRK aren’t in the EU though... ;(
I agree about the SVT offering. Probably the standout here. But then they ruin all that effort with a clumsy, overly staged "walking towards the camera - look how busy we are" opening shot.
Great video!👏 I would nevertheless like to point out that TF1 and BFM tv in France are not public but private.
TV2 from Denmark's intro is essentially 90% English lol
6:55 Out of all the shots they could include, Yle went with this very specific one related to changes with bottle caps
The famous European "innovation"
Regardless of whether or not you've decided to hate the long overdue and totally necessary bottle cap change, kudos for including this shot. One - That was an inspired idea. And Two - it was executed beautifully.

LNK is actually showing the presidental elections of Lithuania, not the European Elections
Republika doesn't only broadcasts on satellite, but also on the cable and even YT.
My pleasure to help you! 🙌💚
Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
An interesting compliation but some intros are random intros after ad breaks or on the secondary rollong news channels, some shows are running after the national elections on Saturday (or other days) while some carry the European results on Sunday, and some are even not election broadcats but talk shows.
Great video!
But one detail: Servus TV isn't a public station, it's currently owned by Red Bull.
(apparently this happens with other channels which are called public even if they're privately-owned)
yeah, but it's like italian mediaset: it's a private broadcaster, but you don't pay to watch it
@@sara_vargiu_626 ok then
A public broadcaster doesn't necessarily have to be government-owned, if they use FTA frequencies and can be watched by everyone with an aerial it's a public broadcaster.
@@Vinnytv7679That's not the normal English meaning. What you described is just a free-to-air broadcaster. A public broadcaster is required by law to produce impartial news and other programmes that serve the public, in the tradition of the BBC, ARD, etc.
It has been a pleasure to participate to this collab !
2:36 is actually the "13 Heures" from RTBF, as said by the voiceover, and not "19 Trente". Otherwise, very great video!
16:19 This election intro is brought to you by David Guetta!
Poland begins at 21:20, if someone doesn't want to search it
dzięki mordo ;)
24:45 Ode to Joy Moment
Nice video about elections
I literally turned on the auto-generated subtitles and it recognized almost every language
Did Rai1 seriously use a variation of the theme from Gone with the Wind?
I thought it was NBC's Olympic Anthem??
Yes. "Porta a Porta" is an historical politic TV show which has this theme song since ever.
7:43 what about france 24 english?
For the Americans out there, Happy 4th of July.
In case of Croatia, you only found ad bumpers with this elections' graphics, right?
Yep, seems to be so
You also missed TVR's electoral broadcast.

It is our responsibility to keep Europe together.

Let’s fight for Europe!
Your Destiny is our defi
My favorite of these is that of ERT1's, ČT's comes second, then LTV's third. I really like how they pulled off the 3D graphics for theirs. LTV's especially makes Latvia appear to punch above its weight.
I think Poland had the worst intros of all the countries here overall, even if we were to only select the intros of TVP, TVN, and Polsat. They don't seem very 2024.
talking about TVI Portugal, they did reused CNN's graphics, again. i thought they uses TVI Jornal's design...
Can you do intro history of Russian TV channels????
15:11 The music is beautiful, but the intro seems more suggestive of something like the BBC's Proms than an election news coverage program lol
In Greece anything but ERT is private
In this video, "public" meant everything that is FTA. Private channels were also shown in other countries. e.g. in Italy, Sky and in Austria, ServusTV.
If Brexit hadn't happened we could have had Arthur
I thought Arthur was only used for UK general elections, not European Parliament ones?
@@linmanfu913 This is from the BBC at the 2019 Euro elections, as Huw Edwards says, the one that wasn't meant to be (for Britain, at least) and has an extract of the theme they had in 2010-2017. th-cam.com/video/eEyb71DkE5E/w-d-xo.html
PLEASE CAN YOU MAKE PALESTINE TV NEWS INTROS 🙏🙏🙏
Request: Palestine TV news
You have skipped Slovenia.
