Hi, I'm from South Africa and I own two E30s. Both of them are of the facelifted variant. One is the 2.5 litre M20 and the other is the 1.8 litre M40. And I'd just like to mention that they both came standard with electric windows along with central locking. And the name of the lady spinner in South Africa is Stacey-Lee May. Great review, from one enthusiast to another.
@UCvWzhOY_Od8PTgAE7p8YgSg E30s hold a special place in the hearts of South Africans because during the 80s and early 90s they were faster than the standard police vans and so the 6 cylinder 325i models were used as getaway vehicles in bank robberies and it was not uncommon for the same vehicle to be used as a spinning car in the townships back then as a celebration. This grew the status of that car here in SA immensely. Even today the E30 in South Africa transcends the boundaries of race and religion, and its mere presence demands respect.

Bayerische Motoren Werke!!! The 3 series has always been my favorite. I've been fortunate to own all 3 series except the latest and the E21 and E30, but I've driven all including the G20. Looking forward to own a G20. I tell you the drive quality of a 3 series is what makes the BMW the Ultimative Fahrmaschine. Keep doing what you do.
