I very often park in Corfe and walk across the hills to Swanage and get the train back. It's a great walk of about 10kms and a treat to get the train. Thanks for sharing.
If I was you I would get exactly what we have in our camper,…a 2 burner hob with grill and some ridge monkeys… You’d able to cook everything then..especially if you add a BBQ cob. It roasts ,grills and of course BBQ’s Also surly a normal awning would be better too…enclosed yet airy and roomy too. You’ll need extra usable space with 2 kids and Bentley… How wonderful to see him. The train was great and I bet it kept everyone amused….👍🇬🇧
We have the Cadac Safari 2... not too big, very versatile and we even have a pizza stone with it. Corfe is fantastic, we highly recommend The Greyhound pub, great food, drink, staff and very dog friendly. We usually opt for Burnbake campsite, where you can camp in the woods. It has plenty of hook up and you can hire fire pits. Our Crafter is in a similar state as yours and we had a trip planned for Burnbake this month but, our house move took priority so, Evo Motion are delivering our kitchen, shower and high units THIS FRIDAY!!! Just need to find somewhere to store it now! Safe travels. Mal, Ruth & Raffy.
Such a lovely video, thank you for sharing. Love seeing your son have quality time with his parents. Reminds me of a very happy childhood. Oh the van is coming along nicely
Burrs caravan site is also great for trains. Used to use it when visiting my parents in Lancs. One day my young children and i went on the steam train whilst my husband had driven back to the Midlands for work during another wet & windy summer. You guessed it, as we rode by on the train we could see our awning had blown down while we were out! Fun times!
Great memories of camping there when my children were young - running over to wave hello to the train 🙂. Also loved the train ride between Corfe Castle and Swanage.
Missed a lovely club site Haycraft at Harmans Cross about 30 yards uphill from the station, dog area and dog walk around the large family field, cracking site
If you are out New Forest way then look up Sammy Miller motorcycle museum (in Sway IFRC) - your lad would love it, it's cheap to get in, absolutely packed to the rafters with motorbikes from the very first kind to the TT speed demons, Tritons, trials bikes and, if you are lucky, you'll meet the great Mr Miller himself - we ended up in his workshop helping him move some display cases when we went there! He's late 80's / early 90's now and still got more energy than I have!!
Looking good guys. We were at the CAMC site next to Corfe last year - beautiful village and the train is a huge plus. I can imagine some roads were a bit of a challenge with the big ol vlogbus!
Really enjoyed your video. I always look forward to your shared adventures with us. And the progress of your van. I know it was wet, but you're well set up.
Great video, weather has been atrocious. Let's hope it soon improves. We camped at Woody Hyde in 2019. Corfe Castle is brilliant as is Swanage, and the steam train. A beautiful area, we look forward to returning soon. Cheers. Xx
Hi guys , just bought a cadac 2 cook 2 pro and it’s excellent. There are two hot plates , one for me and one for wife who is gluten free so her food can’t be cooked along side mine. For just under £130 great value and I strongly recommend it. The crafter is looking great 👍 can’t wait to see it finished 🤠
I'm definitely using the "I've put my back out" scenario when it comes to setting up our awning next time too ;) good work 😂😂 Ps I hope it's better now mate
😂 I’m using it for everything now! “Can you pass me the salt?” “Nope my backs gone!” It’s slowly improving but I was working on the van kitchen yesterday which didn’t help 🤷♂️
We use the cheapest gas cartridge, single burner, $30 ish…..also works well as our bbq….have to cuddle the cartridge in bed if it’s very cold! Rarely use our on board diesel cooker…VW transporter.
@@ABusAndBeyond Sorry, we have used it all when we went to Sweden in June, with a rented campervan! A Smallander, a Dutch Transporter conversion with a Reimo bed.
I bet Cadac love you keep calling the Camping Gaz Party Grill a Cadac 😂 Camping Gaz on the other hand might be a bit cheesed off! We have this and the larger Camping Gaz 3 in 1 Grill, same principle but runs off a 904 or 907 and the whole thing is thickly enamelled. A different level of quality again with a cooking surface of approx 1.5 x that of the party grill 400.
This has to be one of the worst British summers on record, it’s rained every weekend for the past month and as I’m typing (08/08/2023) it’s raining now lol
You guys are living the life I cant wait to live! Very inspirational thank you!
Another great vlog guys
Thank you so much!
There’s definitely nothing like that feeling when people admire your camper 😎. Lovely looking campsite.
Couldn't agree more!

Oh no!! Gutting! I hope there wasn’t too much damage! We will check out that other site, thanks!
OMG ITS RICHARD!!!! Thats the person in the tent with all the flags and stuff. Glad he could make it onto the video!! :)
Legend 😁🤙

It’s a lovely area! Lots to explore!
That Looked like a Lovely Trip for All. I was really Hoping that Harvey was going to Say he wanted to see Submarines for the Next Camping Trip.
We live near a submarine museum so who knows!
@@ABusAndBeyond Does the Museum Allow Overnight Camping in their Parking-Lot?

Love the look of that little cooker!
Also, what is the seat behind the driver's seat, that looks REALLY HANDY....
Lovely area, we were on that train on Wednesday! Beautiful even in the rain 😊

We had almost whole of july rain, and rain again and more rain......
I know! It’s been crazy! And yet June was amazing!
@@ABusAndBeyond crazy is the correct definition...we are a little bit worried to go to Sweden in two weeks....😬
Watching the opening, I was waiting for Digby the giant dog to appear!
😂
Those chair look super comfortable, what make are they please 😊
They’re made by bo-camp but can be quite hard to find. We’ve put some similar ones linked in our description. 🤙
@@ABusAndBeyond Cheers just found them on Amazon 👍 just got to work out now what size is best 😉
Rain. Same problem here in The Netherlands. 🙁
Can’t wait till summer starts! 😂

What is the brand of air fryer you’re using? Are you guys happy with it?
It’s a Tower one. It seems to work fine but it is very small (2.2litres). In hindsight we should’ve gone a little bigger.

Great setup, shame about the weather. Can you let me know the make of the tan camping chairs please, they look really comfortable
They are from Bo-Camp. They’re pretty tricky to find again now, but there’s similar ones from the same company linked in the video description 👍
Thank you for the quick response
Yay, Bentley content!
He’s such a good boy 🥰
You know Nomadiq? I'm considering one but I'm not sure yet...
Hadn’t seen those before. Looks interesting

When Lena was born we had about 6 weeks of summer, now it’s all gone! 😭
It's been a bit warmer in Tenerife and the Algarve. But I'd rather have the rain, everything in the garden died last year.
Great video please can I ask what blinds you have thanks
Thanks. They’re swell shades. Really great blinds
@ 20:21 looks like Windows XP image.
Hahaha yes it does!
It is a 'railway' station, not a train station.
😂
It is Papa Smurf not poppa
HE might be but I'm not! @@watcher24601
I’m the one on the van 😅
Fantastic! 🙌
Camping gas and not a cadac
