    i got accepted and i'm applying for the sk global house this tuesday. How easy is it to get a dorm, I feel like so many students are applying for it and there is only place for 585 students. I'm also so confused on the course registration. I already made a course list with my home university, but the new courses for this fall will only be released in july/august so it will most likely change. how was it with the whole mileage course registration?

      hi and congrats on your acceptance! 😊 first, the dorm registration is really competitive (after hearing from others as well) and many students opt for off campus housing if they don't get a dorm. i'm not sure exactly, but a lot of fall courses are repeated every fall so it should be kind of similar to previous years if you are referencing those records. as for mileage, i think it's a combination of existing status (based on credits and year) and luck, as sometimes you don't get the class you want in the mileage round and have to apply in the first-come-first serve round of registration
      i think you need to contact and correspond with your home university/yonsei to make sure the classes you take in korea can earn credit back home! maybe email them for confirmation after the fall course list comes out??
      hopefully this helped😣 and best of luck to you!!🤩🤩

    Hi Hannah, probably you won't see this but I wanted to reach out and ask how your time at Yonsei University was. I am thinking about studying abroad at Yonsei University and was wondering how your experience was? As someone coming from the US is it easy to make friends in Korea, how are the classes, the environment etc. Is it good to know some Korean before you go? Thank You

      Hi! I am loving my time here so far-- especially since we have been in person starting fall 2022☺️ I think for making friends, it is dependent on how much you put yourself out there+ how much people around you are willing to talk. However, I think based on my friends who have studied abroad, everyone is willing to be friendly and make the most of their time in korea together! I found that a large chunk of people studying abroad are actually from the US so I don't think there will be anything to worry about there, and the classes aren't too hard in my opinion! As for environment, it is pretty safe and welcoming (imo) as long as you are also respectful and not too loud in public spaces^^
      I definitely recommend knowing a little Korean before coming as it will help you when going around to explore/shop/etc!! Hope this helps🤩

    Hey, I’m applying to yonsei and I was wondering how you specifically choose your major. I was in my local community college and did general studies but don’t wanna do that yonsei do have to fill something out or do you declare it later.

    • @homebodyhannah
      @homebodyhannah  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i declared my major after two semesters! the school has a place on your portal where you are able to declare officially and from what i have heard you usually don't declare your major right away

    Hey have u seen any students with GPA of 3.0 being slected in Yonsei university??

    • @homebodyhannah
      @homebodyhannah  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t really asked around for people’s gpa but if you are going off on a 4.0 system then possibly?? I don’t know the exact cutoff for gpa but Yonsei is a good school and students usually do have a pretty high gpa when applying ☺️

    Hey Hannah! I just recently came across your channel and I’m loving the vlogs! Your video about apartment hunting in Seoul was so useful to me as I’m going to be an exchange student at Korea university starting this August. I was just wondering if I could contact you to ask some questions about accommodation/ I’d love to meet up in Seoul some time when I arrive

    Hi Hannah! I'm planning to transfer to UIC for Spring 2023 and I have questions about one of the prompts. The second question asking for a study plan is kind of confusing. Does it want me to explain what I've done to prepare for UIC, or what I plan to do at UIC and beyond? How specific should I go? Let me know if I can contact you to ask more questions, thanks!

    • @homebodyhannah
      @homebodyhannah  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I believe it is asking for what you plan to do+ beyond😊 I personally think including some details would work in your favor (but not too much, if that makes sense). I'd be happy to help-- just let me know how to contact you:)

    hii, sorry i would like to ask, i got accepted in uic for this fall semester. How long does it take for uic to send us the CoA for international students to apply for visa? and will the send the CoA through email directly after receiving the required documents and tuition fee payment?

    • @homebodyhannah
      @homebodyhannah  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
