i read the fanfiction before watching this, and i really liked it! i think your video gives it justice. i love love love the text work! just... so so pretty. my favourite part is around 1:30 when everything is faster, all the clips going back and forth. simply mesmerizing! i love how some clips from the show are used in a different way, to now give them a new meaning. and all the other clips from elsewhere, simply looking like they belong in hotd. you always know how to portray a story so well. this was an absolute pleasure to watch! 💚👌

this is an AU, in the fanfiction there are moments which include Helaena and her dragon however we don't have such scenes yet from the show at all. Hence why here it's portrayed as Helaena, not as Rhaenyra.
