We just did this trail in a little rain today ……wow…..what a work out 🏋️…!!! we are all in pretty good shape and found it challenging …..thanks for the video ….because I met people that almost turned around because of the signs …..and I told them we can still go on the trail …😊they were glad they met me ❤
This route certainly not for beginners as rugged terrain can easily result in falls. Some of the ascent/descent may require handholds and part of path is narrow "goat trails" with precipitous fall a foot away. All Trails rates this route as Hard: trailhead to Wisdom Tree to Hollywood Sign 1.5 miles 740'. All Trails rates as Moderate = Innsdale Trail / Mt Lee to Hollywood Sign: path has dirt/paved road suitable for all ages, bikes, excellent views of H Sign: from trailhead to top 2.2 miles 780'.
Hey, can you see Universal Studios from above from Caehuenga? Or, in short, if coming from the east and hitting Mt Lee first, is continuing up to Caehuenga worth it?
If I remember correctly, you can only see it from around the Wisdom Tree area. Whether you're at the tree on top of the mountain or down in the lower side near the residential area. The further you go away from there towards the Hollywood sign, it'll be out of view.
@@RandomEarthMedia all good! Your route looks amazing but I think going up from Lake Hollywood Park/Mount Lee Dr might be more doable for not super sure footed me lol. Great content!
@chuckhilston1839 You can also park on Deronda Drive and it's about a 45 minute walk to the Hollywood sign and all paved. Just don't park on weekends or holidays or you'll get a ticket. I posted another video about this.

This was very interesting! Made me decide to take the other trail though, heh, so thank you!
Yeah, I don’t blame you. It was fun, but very tiring! If I ever get to do it again, I might try the other trail myself.

How do you capture the sign or the tree for sunset or sunrise photos?
Is this the path that actress Peg Entiwhisle took to the Hollywood sign in 1932?
hi friend, today June 2022, always actuality ?
Those dumb people just chilling under the wisdom tree mess it up for everyone trying to take a picture of the tree or a selfie. Very inconsiderate
