- I reveal the grades for My 2015-16 Connor McDavid and 2016-17 Auston Matthews SP Authentic Future Watch Autos Hockey Cards from Beckett Grading Services. The cost for 2 cards was $922 (CAD) with no import fees to Canada. These are the top rookie cards for each player.

Can't complain there. Considering those cards are handled by the player a 9 is still amazing. No 8.5 subs either. Beauty cards.
I think it was a win. I think your values are fair for both cards. I think those the other mcdavid and your Sid 9.5 are casket cards take em with you when you go lol.
Would you ever do like a fan meet up at say the expo? Make the rules no pictures or video just to respect your privacy but I have sent you some stuff (the Phil psa 10) and would like to gift you other cards and just say thank you for all the great content in person. I am sure there are other fans of the channel who would also like to do that too.
Zeeree when you submit cards too Beckett or PSA you HAVE to wipe the surface down of random crap and fingerprints cause they DON’T wipe the card and when you don’t that can really affect the grade.

You should definitely submit the Mackinnon cards and see the difference
Some friendly advice Zeeree. You probably know this but just in case you are not aware of it, if you do send the McKinnons to get graded and you want to go with BGS, send the one with the slightly streaky looking auto to PSA.( looks a bit streaky from here). That one would probably get a 9 auto with BGS and a BGS 9 auto really hurts the value of the card. When subbing with PSA don't get the auto graded. It really doesn't matter - in fact the label looks cleaner minus the auto grade. Most psa slabs don't have the auto graded and they still sell better than their BGS equivalent. Pheeew. Time for my meds.

Those are some beautiful cards. I think you did great. High grades on Future Watch Autograph cards are tough because there is so much extra handling of the cards before packaging. I've been on the fence about submitting my Mcavoy Inscribed Future Watch for years now. Graded or not you have an awesome Future Watch collection that you should be proud of. I'm envious of your collection and I've been collecting Future Watch cards since UD first introduced them. Great video and thanks for all the time and effort you do for the channel.
Send it to PSA if it looks clean. I sent a Suzuki and Tkatchuk FWA in early this year and both got PSA10. Corners and surface is the most important part with PSA for FWA. Centering is not a huge deal with PSA for FWA unless it's obvious. I've pulled a lot of beaten up SPA cards but mercifully the autos have all been in great shape.

Amazing cards! I’d love to have any of those. My best card is a Sidney Crosby 2005-06 The Cup Rookie Rainbow /87 that I pulled myself. Unfortunately the qc on it isn’t very good as there is chipping and a bent corner straight out of the pack.

I know you've said you don't like MNT ... they are a 3rd of the pice of beckett and psa and really values are only a couple hundred dollars from each other

Thick stock cards are definitely better of in BGS holders. Everything else I would grade at PSA. KInda envious seeing those huge cards. I only recently got into SPA and I only grade cards I pull. I don't pay for them - which is stupid but that's the way it is. Those McDavids will be 100K+ cards in 5 years. Awesome. P.S. I would have the Sid card in 3rd, after the 2 McDavids. Great video and well done!

When I saw the cost of over $900 for the two cards to get graded I was like.. WTF. But then with the grades you got, totally made out like a bandit with the new values of those cards. Congrats!! Also, would love to see the three MacKinnon cards get graded at the same time, would be very cool to see.

I’d consider regrading the McDavid, try to wipe the stuff off the bottom with a makeup brush and resubmit it in hopes of getting a better shake

I watched someone submit 15 cards to bgs and when they came back he cracked them all on camera and resubmitted them. 6 of the 15 ended up having their grade changed and of the 60 subgrades over 30 of them changed. I bet if you submitted that card 10 times half would come back a 9.5

@@zeeree11 Maybe! I personally would be afraid of damaging the card by cracking the slab but if you aren't it's probably worth it. The grading process is so subjective. A lot of the cards that had 9 subgrades were regraded a 9.5, some even jumped up to a 10 (of course some went down). It was kind of wild. Something to consider, don't want to get your hopes up tho.

I love collecting cards too. But most people don't actually know that the whole card grading thing is a scam. It's the same as colleges, and how they need to reject a certain %. Same thing works with the whole '10' thing. Also....think about how much it actually costs even for a regular grading. It's an industry that requires almost no overhead, it's straight profit. They ruin the collectors industry. We need to realize this and stop supporting them. Go back to how it use to be, using our own discretion. And basing it more on card rarity.
I’ve opened 5000 plus dollars on 15 16 hockey cards and never got even one mcdavid rookie auto or patch🥺 I’m only 11 and I wasted all of my money on hockey cards

Even at a 9 it's an amazing card that will only appreciate in value. That one Mackinnon card looks so nice, definitely grade that one. I think sending in the other 2 with it would only accentuate the faults
