- I recently took a look at a new troll level called "Riding The Troll'y" made b YimmyRawr. This level is insanely creative and revolves around trolls that hit you during different modes of transportation!

That anti-softlock area is THE most cruel and devious thing I’ve seen in the troll series (though I haven’t seen every troll video)
it would have been so cruel if it would make you enter a pipe after the hard work u did just to cp 1 yourself xD

you actually didn't have to duck you just some how never got the right momentum, but that was because you never had the right solution at the start, hitting the on/off twice was actually kind of cheese, but I may need to fix that momentumn problem tbh

Lol Dave you did not have to wait that p-switch out, I would never add a full p-wait after a cp like that, it was strange to see you never even attempt something else haha, I might need to prevent the people from waiting out the p-switch as it kinda messed up a few trolls tbh

I think killing the thwomp had something to do with the on-off switch.
You missed the troll that puts you into that soft lock for the "first time" when it isn't as hard.

I don't know if DGR making the end softlock harder by not going over the p blocks and riding the donut block, but still managing to successfully pull it off is impressive, or dumb-luck

This was a nice Christmas present to close out 2021. I love watching DGR with the family, and we especially appreciate the family friendly content. Looking forward to more in 2022, and we'll travel along with everyone, however long that may be.
The "club car" reference is from white christmas. After Bing's character finds out that Danny's character gave the tickets away to the two Sisters they met at the club, they're told by the conductor they can buy tickets to stay in the club car. I love that movie.
Gotta love when Dave references Professor Layton. The series was a huge part of my childhood yet it gets a lot of hate from Phoenix Wright fans, so seeing someone else who is a fan of the series makes me veru happy!

8:51. I think it is more of an Einstein thing with relativity. You being in the trolly are staying still while the ground underneath you is coming at you. Same with driving a car in a sense it isn’t you moving it’s the ground coming toward you. Jump out of a plane and the ground comes up to you. Fisics is hard.

That was a masterpiece.
A good title. Also, alliteration is just when the first letter or sound matches. Like "stupid snake". Matching troll with trolley is a full on pun. Technically the first letter does match but it's a lot more than that in this case.
You can actually see the flagpole when the saw blades is rotating at the correct spot

The key that the trolley isn't moving but the platforms making the tracks are is the top of the trolley has a track on it, which stays still as they can't move.
Happy New Year Dave! He really needs to keep _track_ of how you can hide the goal.

Which was followed by the anti-softlock making me feel very sad.

Coming back to DGR after over a year and it’s good to be back. I feel ashamed for leaving in the first place.
that anti soft lock was cruel and unusual punishment.
That had probably the most creative anti softlock I've seen on any channel, but you know what would be really sick? If there was a way to enter the green pipe and somehow that was the right way to go.
That would mean you literally have to go through all of that torture every time you die after going through the pipe (if the pipe is the way to progress through the level).
@@alisiaale565 You wouldn't die. It'd be the way to reach the exit. At least in my design. Or I could put a checkpoint there.
@@GamerOfFate, oh, so you mean the level wouldn't just continue after that pipe, and you would just instantly reach the goal? Or there is a spike or something after that pipe that kicks you out of the anti-softlock?
@@alisiaale565 I mean there are ways to ensure the player doesn't have to do the antisoftlock again, whether continuing or finishing the level.
@@GamerOfFate, oh, so there should be a path that acts somewhat like a dev exit and can be used to avoid the anti-softlock? That's something I also thought of.
