But honestly, until the end I could not really feel the chemistry between them. I think that was on purpose as if we were taking his position (only realising very late that he had feelings for her). this movie made me believe in a chance of love but after years of failing, I’m almost certain it’s for the lucky ones or for the movies. But it’s so beautiful to be able to rewatch this and still pretend love is real

They both need a bit of what each other has to reach balance. I don’t use to like romantic movies, but this one has a good message after all.

Casting in rom coms matters a lot and just throwing in Hollywood heavyweights like Ben Afleck doesn't mean success. Justin Long and Ginnifer really sold their love in this movie and that's why I believe everyone not only remembers them but relates to them.

I don't think she was codependant nor needy, she just was a hopeless romantic who was too desperate to find true love. He was the opposite but found out helping her was interesting and fun. She was open about her feelings and straightforward, and didn't hesitate to tell him the hard truth. All of that was enough to make him fall for her
