- Join us in celebrating the recent credential earners in the MITx MicroMasters in Supply Chain Management. mm.mit.edu/scm A group of 462 dedicated online learners concluded nine to 24 months of learning to pass their comprehensive final exams in November, earning their MITx MicroMasters® Program Credentials in Supply Chain Management. These new credential-holders bring the total number of holders to 3,435 from 115 countries. The majority of credential-holders hail from the United States, India, Brazil, Australia, China, Egypt, Canada, Canada, and Mexico. While credential holders’ median age is 31, holders range in age from 21 to 74, practicing diverse business functions. They are currently employed at more than 700 companies worldwide, ranging from the largest multinational corporations to local, family-owned businesses. Join us in celebrating their achievements. Wow. You guys take celebrating seriously! :) I didn't realize this was the first MicroMasters (an educational tool which I consider a great boon to society in general). The stats were fascinating: 500,000 enrolled in "a course" to 40,000 verified to 17,000 passed to ~3,400 program completion. That works out to just 0.7% (or 0.3% if we use the 1M enrolled ever.... was the 500,000 currently enrolled in a course) Any way you slice it, that's a lot of filtering down to the end! P.S. Glad to finally put a face to some of the TA names.
Thanks Ronald! Really appreciate it. And yes, it's a lot of filtering. When you consider that only a couple of hundred have also come to campus as part of the blended program, it's another filter. Either way, we're delighted to be able to bring this content for free to the world, and for a nominal cost for those who want to pursue a certificate.

Thank you for top quality course lectures, materials and live events. I learnt a lot from each of them and used many of the concepts in my daily work (I still do!). Hi, if I enroll in the Sc0 course that opened in September, will I be required to take the exam in February? Can I continue to study Sc0 without taking the exam in February and take the exam later? Or should I wait to enroll in March so I have more time to prepare for the next exam?
SC0x is self pace, if you do not plan to take the exam in the current run do not verified, you could join a later run and take the exam later.

You only have to verify and pay the fee for the course run in which you take the exam for the grade to count.
