Thoroughly enjoyed your video. I have three 5501c3 reels and use them for just about everything except pan fish. However, I've caught a fair share of crappie with them too. Can't explain it but there's something about these old workhorse reels that just makes them a pleasure to use.
I love the round bait casters too. You should learn how to lightly thumb the spool to slow it down to prevent backlash. It happens to all of us sometimes but it appeared to be happening almost every cast.
I never saw anyone other than myself using baitcaster there,.... good to know there was at least one more angler using baitcaster! I was using a low profile with 6 ft rod... Actually using baitcaster for trout in creeks is an art in Japan.... you might want to check "Enjoy Fishing Channel" in youtube ;)
