When I was a new nursing assistant (and now nurse) I hadn’t “dealt” with dead bodies at all. I remember a woman passed away and another nursing assistant and I had to go and clean her up to get her ready for the family to view before the mortuary came to get her. Well, after we gently washed her face, it was time to wash her back, which meant I had to roll her towards me. As I did this, her mouth dropped wide open and a loud “scream/groan” noise came out. Both of us nursing assistants jumped and screamed! That was one of THE scariest moments I’ve ever had! I wasn’t aware yet of the things dead bodies could do. As you can guess I caught on pretty quick, as sadly we had people passing away on a daily basis. It became “easier” after a while, but I admit every time a deceased body moaned and groaned it still kinda creeped me out for a while.

@@drownedwick5813 ikr?! I remember we BOOKED IT straight to the nurses’ station and had them come back into the room just to make sure this woman was REALLY DECEASED!! I seriously thought for a minute or two that she had come back to life, I kid you not - like a zombie, yessss! Talk about a shocker! No one had ever told me that a dead body could do that - I really hope the nursing assistant programs today teach a bit more about what happens when the body dies. my memory is foggy but I swear we weren’t really taught anything about the dying and death processes back then. Smh. 🤦🏻‍♀️ HUGE NO-NO by the school, imo!!!! They could seriously prevent heart attacks of future nursing staff just by simply teaching them about what dead bodies can sometimes do! 🧟‍♂️ ☠️ ⚰️ 🪦
(Long) Edit (sorry!): As I’ve grown older and seen many many deaths as a nurse, I’m not AS afraid of death as I once was, but I admit my fear isn’t that much less than before.😟 I think my biggest fear (and I’m sure many others would agree) is to suffer, to have an extremely painful, long, drawn-out death. Unfortunately I have seen many of these - despite all the morphine and Ativan you can pump into someone. Morphine actually speeds up the dying process, but I’ve witnessed dying people who, even though on morphine, etc., are pretty conscious and suffering miserably (but this is pretty rare, most ppl are not conscious once actively dying and on all of these meds). Eventually the correct doses of certain “to make you as comfortable as possible” medications are given (it varies person to person, obviously, and sometimes it takes a bit to figure out what amount/dose works best for each individual) and then thankfully the person almost always slips into like a deep sleep (meaning no pain, thankfully). I mean, NO ONE ever wants to die a death that’s long and painful; even witnessing many of them has put enough fear into me like nothing else ever has! Then, astonishingly, you can unfortunately have the opposite - where some families don’t want their dying loved ones to be given not one bit of any sort of pain or anxiety meds - it’s cruel, and myself, other nurses, physicians, and other medical professionals - have done all we could to get those actively dying ppl the pain and anxiety meds they so desperately needed. Sometimes we prevailed and sadly, sometimes the families “won”. That’s life for you - UNFAIR…but God is good, as my dad would say (RIP daddy. I love you always). I’m a bit scared yet about what comes after death, but I’m a Christian and I truly do believe what Christians believe about the afterlife - HOWEVER, I’m still only just a human, and I do have a little doubt at times, just like anyone else might have.
Anyways, I do pray daily for people around the world, especially for those who are actively dying or who will die soon, as well as for the people who have already crossed over. Prayers are wonderful things; it’s really the only genuine way I can take care of and express my empathy for those dying (who I’ve never known in this lifetime). Love and light to everyone!!
      🥰❤️⭐️

I almost died when I was pregnant with my first born. I was 20(5 years ago). I remember feeling relaxed, at peace, and just calm. I heard a nurse scream get away from her. I was looking down at my body and heard I need another nurse in here! I heard my mom crying and saying "breath baby breath." I webt back in my body, blinked and seen my dead grandmother beside me. Blinked again and she was at my feet, smiling saying it wasn't my time yet. Everything will be okay. Blinked again and she was gone. I shot up and gasped for air and started to cry. I never been so scared of death until that night.

I was on the phone with my brother who I thought I had awaken...he was in fact going into a diabetic coma that I mistook for waking him up. 2 days of not reaching him, and a 3rd day of police finally breaking into his home for the welfare check, revealed the sad news. When I got to town to "claim him" and clean out his place, I was told they took his dog to the shelter and I assumed the smell was from the dog using the bathroom in the house but...unlike nothing I ever smelled before in my life. It was so bad my daughter and I couldn't even stay at his residence. My hats off to you (and my son a cop) who has to deal with the aftermath. Thank you however.

Back in 1948, one of my little friends passed away from leukemia. In those days, we didn't have funeral home in our town so the casket would be set up in the home in which she lived. There were people that sat all day and night with the deceased person and watched the coffin for 3 days and nights. When I went to visit her, she was dressed in a little pink dress. As I watched her laying in the casket, I swear, I saw her tummy was moving up and down. I screamed and cried because I thought they were going to bury her alive! I saw her move so I swore, she was not dead. Well, they buried her anyway. It wasn't until MANY years later that I learned why her tummy moved and was finally able to let go of that memory. This video just confirmed it so now my mind can be totally at ease. That was 76 years ago.

@@Sandragomes199 I don’t want to speak for OP, but I went through something similar as a child. In my opinion, the most logical answer for thinking that someone who passed, is still breathing in their casket might be because we *want* them to be alive and breathing. That’s what we were used to seeing. Also, our eyes and minds can play trick on us during emotionally heightened moments like a funeral…especially for a child who doesn’t understand. That’s just my perspective. But I don’t think the video did much to explain this phenomenon, so I’m not sure if that’s what OP meant or how the video provided her with some peace of mind.

My mom died December 3rd, 2021 and I remember looking at her just after the nurse said she was gone. I remember thinking how relaxed she looked, which comforted me since she had suffered so much throughout her life. I do especially remember that her face was so smooth it looked like she'd had a face lift. Her eyes were closed, her mouth was hanging open and her hand felt a little cool as I held it for the last time, but that didn't really bother me since she often slept with her mouth open and always tended to be cold anyway.

When I was a child, I drowned. I remember clearly watching the two men who pulled me out, listening to them freaking out, and watching them begin CPR. I remember thinking that I didn't understand their emotion, as I felt just fine. I was, however, watching the scene from above, seeing myself laying on the beach. I wasn't afraid, I "knew" it was over and I was fine. A few moments later, I feel the CPR; I feel him pushing air into me, and having the overwhelming desire to vomit. The next moment they were laughing and crying and patting me on the back. and I was fine. I can state that the terror I felt drowning SUDDENLY became a light and comfortable feeling. It's like a quiet announcement of "That's all, folks!" and I stopped struggling. No light at the end of the tunnel, no dead relatives, no seeing angels. Just and overwhelming calm and serenity. I believe that's probably how it's going to be when it IS for the last time. Just......abrupt peace. I don't want to end my life, but I don't FEAR death as much as I did before. (note: I am pagan, not christian, so I don't have prerecorded visual cues on WHAT I am supposed to see)

My grandpa died in 2019, and I remember so clearly standing over his open casket at his funeral. It was bright blue, with a beautiful wreath on top. And I looked into it, and he looked nothing like I remembered. His cheeks were normally rosy, but his whole face was pale white. After that day, I became terrified of death. Not for me, though. I am not scared of me dying. I am scared of my family dying. A year later, my half brother committed suicide, and that was just as bad as my grandpas funeral. Again, it was an open casket, but they had a little black cube to cover where he shot himself in the head. Lying in that casket, he looked so peaceful and innocent, and I broke into tears. I felt so bad for his mother and sisters, and we were all sitting there the whole time crying together

    Hello I'm from india.
There is this neighborhood aunt who once died and while people were making arrangements to carry her to her burning ground, she woke up. Her death was declared officially but she just woke up and got into a little shock. Everyone was scared and then she told everyone about what she saw on the other side. She claims to have seen a door through which when she passed, she saw many saints dressed in white, white beard touching the ground and sitting on a high place like a judge sits in the court. She told that there were their servants and all the saints had huge books placed before them. When they saw her, they checked her name in their book and they got shocked and told the servants to take her back to her body before the villagers burn her body. The saints told that she is not the one, she has to live more years and then she was brought back to her body by the saints.
There are 3 such incidents in my village. A guy named raghuveer died and woke up and the second he woke up, another guy named raghuveer died from the next house. My whole village knows these happenings, my own grandma was there to witness that aunt's death.

I saw an interesting movie that discusses death in a very personal but intriguing way. It's a Japanese film called Departures. A guy accidentally gets employed by a specialized funeral home and gradually learns how to prepare and dress the bodies of the deceased for the funerals so that their families can view them in a peaceful state, no matter how tragic their passing. The loved ones actually get to watch the preparation process if they want to.
It takes a look at how gruesome and traumatizing death can be, and turns it into something peaceful and hopeful, helping the viewers feel closure. Highly recommend!

I can't say I saw anything out of this world, but I know I felt very peaceful during the several weeks I was unconcious. I don't fear death (there is no point, I can't stop it eventually happening) - just hope it won't be painful.

Even though some of these may seem macabre, funeral directors/embalmers have a very difficult but necessary job. After listening to some videos where funeral directors very respectfully explained what it is they do and why it's done the way it is. They really have to go through and experience very unpleasant circumstances pertaining to the deceased, much of what many of us wouldn't or could not do. Therefore I take my my hat off to those funeral directors who very respectfully care for our loved ones and who actually care about what they are doing. Many of them do care. I learned a lot from that.

I can see how younger people that play that game would think they're the same, but from an artists prospective they are completely different. Teeth are different, emotional gestures are different, animations are different, everything is different. Could the animator/artist for the channel have taken inspiration from the cute little green thing? Possibly, but I think it's more likely that because you play the game a lot and like the character, you're associating it with the Amazed character due to artistic similarities. It's not a bad thing or uncommon, people do it all the time, and that's why art is entirely subjective.

It cannot be like before you were born cause you have not been born. Since you have not been born, the moment you were born is your first day of existence. The counting starts right there. My mom was born in 1963 and my father in 1949. These were the two preconditions for me to exist. So there is big difference between the two. When you were in your mothers womb you had no idea of an afterlife, you probably thought that there is nothing beyond your mothers womb. So Cartman was wrong and talked bulllshit.

One lady named opal had been in hospice for a while and we were all waiting for her to pass. Assumed it would be a few days. I think it was about an hour or two before 1st shift was supposed to come in she took her last breathe. The nurse came and got me and I'm freaking out because I've never even touched a dead body. As we were cleaning the body we had to roll her over and it sounded like she gasped. I immediately let go and started crying thinking she was still alive. While he was still able to talk with me during his last few days, I gave him a keyword. I asked that if he did go into some form of afterlife. That he find a way to reveal that keyword to me. No matter how it gets revealed to me, I'd accept there is life after death. Well, it's March of 2022 and I still haven't seen or heard the keyword in any fashion.

I could hear my dad's words encouraging me but I also looked up to the sky and clouds and asked my dad if he was there could he help me and if he could show me a sign so I knew it was him. Within about 20 seconds, a cloud appeared with the VW sign, the circle sign with VW inside it. My jaw dropped and I burst out laughing. I then new that the words I was hearing in my head were in fact my father encouraging me, that he was actually there helping me. It boosted my resolve and gave me the strength to make it through the day.

When I was a child, before to receive 5 y.o. I loved to keep my breath when I got to bed. Usually it didn't last too long, but I was recalling that sensation of FLOATATION above, towards the ceiling. Once I kept my breath quite longer and I got outside of the building where we have lived, and the streets where into a peculiar dashed light as I was seeing everything around into infrared (grey and white). And only once, and the last time, I could keep it even longer (my breath) and I was into a sudden above a big city full at lights, just almost close to but I had to "come back"...
Later, when I was already 5 y.o. I've got a night-dream, it just happened, with no intention: I knew that I was an adult person into my dream and I was standing on top of a huge building, on the top terrace of that tour-building which was in the middle of a huge intersection (I knew that huge intersection, far away @ 4 stations away the place where I was living). BUT those years there was NOTHING in that intersection, it was just a railways cross with other main roads. That was all that time. BUT in my night dream I was an adult, an accomplished person, so high on top of that place, on that milk-white lucent terrace, bordered by coloured light bulbs (as you may use at Christmas into your garden), and I was there ALL ALONE, a perfect accomplished adult, just VERY LONELY. And the land down there couldn't be seen because of the heights and the skies were black-dark as the the bitumen, NO STARS at all.
I wished to re-vision that night dream, and I had it once again and another, totally three times. Such I could keep it into my mind all my life long.
When I was around 7 y.o. I asked myself: "Where is LOVE-feeling coming from?" and - alone into my room - I shut my eyes and was wondering by my mind if should it be the source of LOVE into my head, NO! - it was just dark in there, then should it be into my neck, neither there - darkness, all the same, what about my chest, NOTHING in there but again darkness... AND suddenly I clearly heard a MAN's VOICE into my mind:
"Do You Really Want To Know?", HE said!
I've opened my eyes and - probably shouting - I said: NO! NO! NO! And I run into the kitchen, where my mom went before, to be with her and my granny.
Last time, I was exactly 45 y.o., after 40 year of that 5 y.o. night-dream, ALL ALONE indeed, into my room, after 4-year continuous time of NO SLEEP, into depression, when I decided to give myself to God, such I said: "God, I want NOTHING more from this life! YOU take my life, YOU take all that I am, all that I want!" And, in my mind, I was like I THREW all my life to the feet of GOD, as you do with your garbage!
Into an instant, I had a vision (I wasn't sleeping at all !):
A huge Cosmic River of LIGHT God was overflowing to me; pure LOVE, holy LOVE-Light!
A question came into my mind: "Shall it be this LIGHT - Jesus?"
And another vision came, and I was just an empty half of a nut shell, in which God was pouring His huge Cosmic LIGHT.
What was I? A piece of wood, the tiniest one possible, no core, no bright, no colour - like soil, not even good to waste in a fire.
And that LIGHT was all LOVE ! HOLY, HOLY, HOLY !!!!!
It was the month of December, 2009.
God gave me that moment a New LIFE!
It was exactly like in that night dream of my 5 y.o.:
Me - in depression (the sky was heavy black, truly in that dream and in my life then!)
God's LIGHT: HOLY place for my feet into that dream; in December/the coloured light bulbs bordering the white terrace.
That high terrace was indeed in the city I still live, right in that intersection, because exactly that year, in 2009, the Mayor put into circulation a huge work, a bridge over that intersection and the other one further and it has two tours exactly that place as in my 5 y.o. night-dream :)
I should have been far away, in 2009, into th other hemisphere of the Globe, but GOD knows better! I was still here, meeting with HIM Who saved my LIFE, 40 years later, as in that dream (I had EVERYTHING: money, car, diplomas, children of my own, an appartement, the acts for leaving the country...., alone?) No, I could not leave my children! I fought with myself for 4 years long, in Satan's hands, until I quit.
Instead to suicide, I decided to throw my life with everything towards GOD.
    HE gave me ANOTHER.
Nowadays, finally having a BIBLE and reading it, I am amazed!
There is ALL The TRUTH !
If I would have known earlier...?! ...
But GOD wanted to TELL me: "Do You Really Want to Know?" !!!!
    HE LOVES US !!!!!!!
    WE ARE HIS CHILDREN !!!!
But we have NO IDEA in what we are into...
    PLEASE, read your BIBLE !
    please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you're not crazy i have had similar experiences and even crazier, when i was 5 i floated towards the ceiling too but i was being dragged by angels towards the ceiling, i think i was kicking them cus i was scared and fell back down into my body, that's probably the most TAME supernatural experience i've had, too many to list here, but God was with me since i was little i just didn't know it at the time, but looking back on it i know that's what it was the whole time. I've seen UFOs/Angels/Jesus/been infused with The Holy Spirit/had the devil breathe down the back of my neck/seen UFOS turn into fluctuating portals in the sky/seen the Sun change 5 colors in 5 minutes and smile at me like an emoji even though the smile was in my memory of the event which was altered as the event was happening. Nobody would believe me about any of it but it is truth and The Holy Bible is truth. I hear voices all the time too, i feel like they lie a lot of the time to me, but sometimes they are right and can predict the future, they will say something that makes zero sense until way later on when something happens that makes it make sense. There's literally too many to list in one post.

@@w33d533d , I never heard any voice since then, and that was the singular time when it happened.
Yes, the BIBLE is all true !!!! There are Angels because the Bible says so, and these Angels are of two kinds: the GOOD ones, and just 1/3 of the total no. of the Angels made by God - this 1/3 of them - are BAD Angels (the Fallen Angels) who are together with Satan, their "Master" (NOT their creator!).
I have had the whole life full of night dreams which came true...
One of the last night dreams I had was about "two old women" (in the begining of the Pandemic year, 2020). Those two old women were into a house on the ground near the place of my childhood, right at the main road. There were many people... And when I saw one of the old women (in my night dream), I pointed my finger towards her and got closer and closer towards her, pointing her out, and telling her: "I know YOU! I know YOU! I KNOW YOU (as I will make a Report, to denounce her)! YOU wanted me DEAD multiple times! I KNOW YOU!", I said into my night dream.
And that old woman was puzzled (in my night dream) she didn't know what to do... When the other woman, even much older than this one but somehow more important than that first one, appeared from a room behind them and her gestures were to make her sibling peaceful, something of the kind: "do your job, you see for what you have plenty to do; don't bother... (with this one / about me but without any eye connection none of them; quite a little fearful of me), but the one more important of them, SATAN (!) was quite relaxed, as "she" knew that we will meet, all of us three, some time... As the first old woman - very fearful for I know her and I have NO FEAR of her - was the old, yet not the oldest, the "DEATH".
      Satan is older than Death.
I went further, in that night dream, on my path, letting the old women behind, were Death was in a lot of work with the mass of people over there, in the road, and Satan staying close to her, reassuring her to stay calm..., to watch her loads of work, to pick her people from the crowd...
As I said, it was 2020, somewhere... The very next year, I got COVID and I was close to loose my heart... (I stayed at home after that and recovered in 6 months...)
      God is so good ! ! ! !

4:12 is actually incorrect. Rigor mortis can actually arrive within 30 minutes and then extremely rare cases may be instantaneous. Rigor mortis would have already been beginning to be present before three hours. Also, all the timelines given in this video for postmortem interval (liver Mortis close rigor mortis and Algor Mortis) are highly dependent on environmental factors such as external temperature, how physically active the person was immediately before the time of death, size of body, presence of clothing or not, etc.

My grandpa “died” when he was only ten. But the reason I think this is what actually happens is because no one resuscitated him. It might not make sense now but it will soon:
So my grandpa and I are both Christian. He and his brother were riding their bikes to church one day. There was a car clearly Speeding that was coming up behind them, but they didn’t think much of it. All of a sudden, there handles got tangled and my grandpa was thrown off the bike and died because he was hit by the car.
He said all there was was white. Just white. It was bright, but just the same, white. So he started walking. Then he came across two chairs. But someone was sitting in one already. It was Jesus. He looked behind him saw Angels. As far as the eye could see, it was just angels. So he sat in the other chair and looked in front of him.
He said it was like an Undescribable screen, just about. He couldn’t describe it. Then something plays on that screen. It was in a kitchen, and there were 2 people there. A little boy, and his mom. The mom was cooking something. The little boy reached towards the stove. The mom said, “ No no, Martin, the stove is hot.” That was his name. The mom proceeded to walk into the pantry to grab something, but the little boy, Martin, touched the stove and gets burned.
In case you didn’t know, Christians call wrongful actions “sins”
He said him, God, and the Angels watched every sin of his whole life right then and there. It lasted roughly three whole hours. He said they were about half way through when he THOUGHT to himself, “Thats not fair! Where’s all the good stuff that I did?!” But he heard an entirely different voice in his own thoughts. “The good is what is expected.” God has read his mind, and replied in his mind.
When they finished the “movie”, God said to him,(in his head), “Up or Down?” He knew what he meant. Heaven or Hell. But he didn’t want to answer, so he thought, “What do you mean?” He saw a picture of God. One hand was up, the other down. All he said was “God, I want a second chance. Please.” And he was under the car with his brother screaming bloody murder at the man who hit him.
    God always forgives. 🙏🏼

But it can actually be considered a safety concern for some elderly to go to the bathroom as they will have a heart attack while on the toilet. My second day of clinics for CNA training I witnessed a woman go through this. She started out lively, then began staring straight ahead, followed by unresponsiveness, and finally my trainer jumped into action and pulled the cable in the bathroom and sent the other CNA to get the nurses. The room was filled with people and we managed to get her back and given my trainer had witnessed this before with this patient, it was decided she would no longer go to the bathroom.

That, my friend, is impossible. It's like saying that everyone's idea of the chemical makeup of an atom of Hydrogen is equally true- if Joe says it's not Hydrogen, but Calcium, how can he be correct? You're delving into the insanity of 'personal truth' when in fact, there can only be one truth- that is the very core of truth itself. Something cannot cease to be true or real in any sense just because one person chooses to view it differently. If I were to touch a piano key, that would be reality and no amount of believing that I did not touch that piano key will make it any less of a reality or a truth.

I found my father when he passed almost 30 yrs ago when I was 17.
I'm good now and have made peace with it so on a lighter note thank God there was no 💩 or pee cuz I think that would have probably put me over the edge
I was pretty close to it but that would be it I'd be done
Sorry dad😉 (he's definitely laughing up there)
I guess not everyone poops n pees when they die
    I hope to God I don't
That'd be my luck and my final embarrassment as the icing on the cake to a probable embarrassing end
    Lol
Oh yes and the whole rigamarole can't spell it stiffness is for real cuz he'd been gone for several hrs and I felt it. His eyes were open but barely.
I no longer find it creepy or scary cuz that was my Dad and I'm grateful that I was the one that found him cuz my mother wouldn't have been able to handle It
May they both rest in peace and not be up there arguing as usual,😉

      I'm sorry for your loss
I believe my father went in his sleep as well I hope because when I found him It was about 9:00 a.m. generally he wakes up at 4:00 a.m. because he used to leave at 5:00 a.m. cuz he had to commute 2 hours from North shore Suffolk county Long Island all the way to Westchester county because he worked for Con Ed
Even when he got sick and wasn't working for months he still got up super early cuz he was used to it for like 30 years
Anywho he adorably kept a little diary on the calendar and wrote super super super tiny diary type entries in the boxes and he basically said he had a pain attack around 4:00 a.m. then made sure he set up the coffee pot in time for Mom to wake up
Seems sad to read for someone that doesn't know me but anyone that knows me knows my dad and that was just typical him on the verge of literally dying made sure he made his tiny diary entries in the 1-in by 1 inch boxes on the calendar I do the same thing now it sounds kind of like weird but like father like daughter😉

When I was a child asleep one night, I went into night terror’s. A veils was opened and I saw about 10 sec of Hell. To this day as a 58 yr old man I will never forget that moment. An overwhelming fear that cannot be described in human term’s swept my entire soul. I was in shock for 3 days. My mother could not console me.

I met a nurse who had the job of plugging up ALL the openings in bodies to prevent leakage. As for "pitching one final tent", there was a guy who had cardiac arrest and was brought to the emergency room. As the crew was working on him, the guy started to get an erection. A Miracle ! ? ! Not so, as the guy had a pump implanted under his skin in his chest area to obtain erections, and the chest compressions of the crew activated the pump. (Too many compressions may have done some damage.)

My father in law passed away in 2020. When we went to see if he was ok on Easter, he would shut his phone off when he'd sleep or just not want calls, we found him on the floor on his stomach. He had no discoloring, bloating, smell, no stiffness, nothing. They figured he had passed away 6 days prior. My husband had talked to him on the phone 6 days prior and he said he was going to go to bed. They figure he mightve died shortly after the phone call. Make me understand this. They also said at the start that his lungs were full of fluid. When they did the final report, they said the lungs were completely clear. Now I know that he was coughing during the phone call, so its impossible that they were completely clear of fluid.
