@@BeanieQuestOfficialyeah, for mates it depends on how bold they are or how much they like to just attack straight away. My wolf's mate, Hope, gets scared of bears easily but she likes to attack them immediately. It just depends on how wise your mate is, but since mates are NPCS they are not so wise lol.
It appears that eagle attacks have become more of a threat since 1: the update where pups may refuse to enter the den during an eagle encounter and 2: the update where pups venture further and further from the den as they age and become braver. Now, losing a pup to an eagle on accurate mode has become virtually inevitable IF my den is located in a place with sparse vegetation. If I choose a wooded den, eagle attacks are of little to no concern to me. That said, other predators still present a grave problem to me while playing on accurate mode. 😵
eagles scare me so much!! i can deal with whatever’s on the ground just fine but anything in the air is terrifying honestly. i also wanted to say hey, i’m a new sub but a WQ player of many many years and i find your content and the community you’re fostering wonderful and very refreshing! you’ve got a great thing going on here :D
I agree, when i learned how to (properly) hunt i got a mate named Liam. He was that white coat that was re-made from the older versions and my wolf Scarlett ll was some black coat. When i raised their pups i had that den that was open, and was like a little mountain quite near Crevice Lake, where i would always steal their hex behind my den. xd But anyways the den was open, and that was my first time raising pups since i could actually hunt. I had an Eagle attack and my pup Asher died. I felt like re-creating him but it’s now been a year irl and like 2 years in the game. I realised he was a Runt, but thought that was a coincidence. I since then wanted another Runt, but finally in their 3rd litter i got another Runt!! This game is awesome, and back 5o the story, ever since i tried to ignore Eagles by picking Wooded Dens. This game is awesome, and i have fun raising pups with many different wolves!! ❤
In real life bald eagles are piscivores, meaning that they have a strict diet of fish. The only other thing they eat that isn't fish is carion so that's why you'll see them at carcasses, so, in a way, they're like part time vultures. They don't seem to care too much about land critters unless they're desperate. The golden eagles are the real menace, some go as far as pulling goats of cliffs so they plummet to their deaths.

Ohhhhh yeah first of all you not a lier🥺 and aslo I agree eagles are the most dangerous, and... if a pup does not go in the den I grab the pup and just sit there... wait there...😊 I loved your video!!!! Great work😁
I've had little to no eagle attacks lately, and when i see one flying ANYWHERE near my den I hold my breath for a second 😂 I have found out how to get rid of bears with hardly any damage taken, so i would agree that eagles are indeed the biggest threat.
Agreed that eagles are dangerous. You can control wolf attacks with strengthening hexes around your den, you have some time after a bear or a cougar takes a hold of your pup, coyotes are easy to scare away and eagles only attack if you have an open den just like the game says. But when an eagle attacks, just like coyotes and wolves, it's all over. It brings anxiety to people because the eagle is not on land and for a predator that a player cannot attack, it makes the player anxious, but technically an eagle is similar to wolves and coyotes who wait for a while before straightly killing the pup. The pups scattering around is also a big problem, a player needs to keep woofing while trying to follow the eagle around and maybe even growling at it. A technique would be to leave at least one pup out of the den and take the risk of letting the eagle try to swoop in but at the last minute you go in there with the pup before the eagle grabs it and because your proximity to the eagle will be close, the eagle will immediately give up its attack. But that technique is extra risky.
Recently I had an eagle attack and my pups refused to go to the den. I was just following the eagle on the T camera and run towards the direction it was about to land. It worked just fine, but I play on challenging mode. I used to play on accurate, but it was long time ago and I don't remember much about it other then 5/7 pups survived. Are eagles that much of a threat when it comes to accurate mode?
I’m in accurate and I also follow the eagle, but sometimes I either can’t catch up in time or I get stuck on an object, such as the den itself in the log ones
The eagle is an easy predator depending on you and since I’m an anxious player following the eagle with my mouse doesn’t help and ends up with my pup dead.( depends on you 🫵 )
@@adventurewolf1779 yeah, i used to be pretty good at chasing eagles away, because I woof then follow the eagle away then deal with whatever pups didn’t decide to go in the den after. But I suddenly got really bad at it in the last litter or 2 I did, in the latest litter, I had like 2-3 eaten by eagles or smth lol, idk why I ended up getting so bad at it when I do the exact same strategy and it worked most of the time until now, now I get really worried when an eagle comes lol- or well, even more worried when I see them lol
@@shanellemurrey9300The community saying how much of a difficult threat the eagle is can get to someone's head and that way you may start becoming anxious after what they said, even if in the past you had discovered a good technique that worked for you. There is a solution to that though, and it's to realise that others' experiences aren't the same with yours. People look up to others so much out of envy, try to get better, etc that they end up imitating their behaviour. It's like you're chained up to what they say, but you can be free from that and you will be able to be good at chasing eagles away again.

It’s definitely the eagle bc tell me why my pups wants to separate from each other and WHEN I call them to go to the den they don’t listen letting me have a panic attack

HAY, sorry I’m so late. But for me… I think eagles and FRICKING *DOGS* ARE THE WORST DAMN THINGS OMG. I have never lost a pup to a eagle or a dog, but I know that dogs are so so annoying. They are so so fast, usually 2 or 3 of them come to ur den, they are fricking aggressive and always attack u, and like… WHAOW I HATE THOSE THINGS😭 hold on, new terrifying thought: ok hear me out, what if there could be 3 eagles at ur den at once, wouldn’t that be co-
Eh, I respectfully disagree. For me its dogs, or it's probably bears. I used to have trouble with eagles, but lately I haven't had many eagle attacks. I have played on accurate before and even then I didn't have issues with eagles, it is mostly dogs if I played on Lost River DLC or its bears. Maybe I just have exp with Golden eagles though, also only golden eagles attack wolf pups as they are a type of eagle that hunts small prey. Bald eagles only hunt fish or scavenge off carcasses but they don't really hunt small prey like rabbits or pups. Golden eagles however only hunt rabbits and small prey such as young wolf pups that aren't close to 15 pounds and they scavange off carcasses. Plus, when a eagle does decide to come to your den your supposed to send all the pups inside the den and then your supposed to follow the eagle around, it scares the eagle. If you aren't successful in bringing all of your pups inside the den try to stay near all of them as possible(specifically probably ones you want to survive lol). Or, you can just make your wolf's personality as cautious since cautious pups are more likely to listen and go inside the den. Bold pups are more likely to not go inside the den when you woof and think its so cool until they realize it means death or life at the last moment. So maybe thats why eagles aren't a problem for me. I mostly play as cautious wolves so most of the time my pups are cautious. Only 1 or 2 might be curious and stand there when theres danger but eventually go inside the den.
eagle attacks are the worst when you have a big litter because they all scatter 😭if you have a high star diversity mate i recommend people to get a wooded den if you're scared of getting too attached to your pups lol
When there is an eagle attack at the den. Me: OH GOD NO. My pups: OMG FLYING CHEW TOY!!!!!!!
Hahahahha-same🙄
In game, dogs would be my worst attack but bears are only a BIG threat to your mate. Eagles are 2nd but I avoid them in wooded areas
I agree! I see the difficulty doesn’t matter because 2 of my mates died to bears on easy.😮

For some reason only the golden eagles attack pups while the bald eagles do not.
