Hi Lyn! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! I love tea and I couldn't wait to get this box finished and fill it up with tea. My favorite are all the herbal teas. I've never had apple tea, sounds intriguing though. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖

BEAUTIFUL as usual. Everything you make ends up looking like very expensive antiques. Just when I thought you couldn't possibly make it any prettier - you went & added the chain detail. 👍
Hi Barbbette! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! I absolutely love the vintage look. Did I surprise you with the chain? It needed a little something extra! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖

So beautiful! I love to watch other people decoupage.... I'm still figuring it out. Hopefully soon i can get the hang of it 😂 I'm in Southern Illinois not even close to Chicago. I drink coffee mostly but I also like herbal teas.
Hi there! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! If you have any questions on how to decoupage, please let me know. I'm always available to help you. I'm going to be doing a beginner decoupage video very soon. Decoupage 101, you'll probably enjoy this one. It'll be everything you need to know beginning the decoupage journey. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
Thank you. I just had to quit drinking coffee. So I switched to decaffeinated tea or no caffeine tea. I am finding out I really like tea. So now I am buying all different kinds to try. I am so glad I am subscribed to your channel. This came on my phone today. I am going to try making two. I want to make a smaller one to take with me and a bigger one to store all my tea in at home

Aww, I'm left speechless how gorgeously your tea box came out. Fantastic job! A tea drinker here watching from Hungary (for the first time, but definitely not the last). I did decoupage before, but somehow my motivation decreased after a time. Some days ago I thought I would get into it again, so I was looking for some inspiration. Then magic happened by discovering your channel. I am so grateful to you, and feel super inspired. Thanks a lot for sharing!🙏

Beautiful work as always! Quick question: Is the wood varnish solvent based? Because I think the antiquing paste is solvent based, and I think you varnished on top of the corner appliqués
Hi there, No the varnish was not solvent based. Yes I did vernish right over the corner appliques. I used Polyvine Heavy Duty wood varnish which is a water based sealer that is truly amazing. It's highly water and heat resistant, so it's perfect for projects in the kitchen or bathroom. I'll leave you a link below. It's a safe link. This is where I order most of my supplies. They are a great online store. Have fun browsing! Hi Nicole! Thanks, I'm so glad you liked this project. I have it filled with tea bags in my kitchen right now. I tried the hot glue, but I've found that clay, paste and casting resin are my absolute favorites. If you have any trouble unmolding your clay, here's the solution. After you put the clay in your mold, put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes. It will just pop out without breaking off any delicate parts. Works like a charm. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
