@@kiaminizzI would still play star stable if it was like this. They actually cared ab the players n the storyline. Sso is not the same game anymore it literally isnt they could have upgraded it in a way much different way, they are making their own game instead of making what we already had better. They dont share the same vision the old team had

I can forgive SSO for the lack of quests, for the change in character customisation, for everything. But for removing the music ? No, I’ll never forgive them.

@@Zelda_eqthe difference is that those places aren’t original jorvik places and were added later into the game. most of the actual silverglade, moorland and jorvik music is gone. (also as they’re actively updating old places they also update the music so those places u mentioned might be gone soon)
The feeling of seeing and hearing old sso is so strange, it feels like home but also feels like ive lost my home and when i think of it i get happy but very sad at the same time , its like im begging on my knees to get back there

I miss it too!!! Leveling up was so exciting but now it’s not.
I miss how mysterious this game was and how their style was so different to others☹️ I felt like I was in the coolest story ever made. I felt so special! It just feels so empty now… everything feels like a cheap imitation. So sad😢
I'm a little late, but I agree. I loved the way the soul riders looked before their update. The game feels cold and dark, compared to the magical, loving game... I enjoy listening to the old music from the story quests. The first music played in the video, that's gone??

I played in this time and for me 2016 was just the best year espically the summer. Everytime I logged on the jorvik stable was full of people and you kind of knew them all. I tihink Epona came out this time too, if I remember correctly and it was so stunning to me. Here in germany everybody was using facebook for starstable but during this time also many were slowly moving to instagram, I'm glad I still have my instagram sso acc from 2015 ✨

i remember back in 2017 playing star stable early in the morning on a snow day, doing the santa quests, the loading screen cat, the music, getting excited when i bought my first bunny, the free star rider codes, doing the voices of the characters when they spoke, the championships and how fast they made my heart beat, taking care of my horse wolfangel everyday so he wouldnt be sad, the friends i made and never saw again, the snow covered jorvik, swimming in the fort pinta beach, getting jumpscared when my horse got injured, unlocking goldenhill valley for the first time, getting a new ugly haircut, crazy horse tack and clothes, doing the daily quests and sneaking into locked areas. i remember when sso felt like a fairytale. i remember being a kid and how much i loved this game.❤🏇🐎🎠🐴

the graphics, the music, the characters, the people, the horses, etc.
absolutely everything, stable star bathed my childhood and it pains me more and more to see that it keeps changing. I still play from time to time but it's not the same at all

I wrote the SSO support an idea that they could release an SSO single player game with the old world. I do not know if they'll even respond, but it would be amazing to have this piece of nostalgia nobody can take away.

Yeah, same. Some gamers save game files and make a private world, so that should definitely happen to this game too. Like a pirate version. If I get enough rich, I'd try to make this world again and the original artists and developers, or at least similar.

@@RimFaxxe Yep this is so true! And it seems those guys just mock that we miss the OG SSO. Bro, the new developers took our game away. This new one shouldn't even be called Star Stable. They should have been two separate games than the OG getting destroyed.
@@Quqo. finally someone who understands me😭 this isn't what my best friend wanted sso to be like before she passed away, and now with the new team making even more desperate changes it feels like a punch in the face. I can't let go of old sso, I don't want to forget my best friend.

even though I started playing this golden and wonderful game during the summer vacation of 2015, it still makes me cry almost as soon as I hear these musics 😭😭
I still miss all of this a lot today and I hate how it looks today because there is nothing wonderful about it but horrible which I don't like.

I remember I subscribed to some horse magazine thing that would send extras like posters, comics, movies, and games. I got Autumn Riders in one box and I remember playing it non stop for years til I eventually slowly grew up and I’m so gutted that the Disc it’s lost as far as I know :( but this video has sparked such a beautiful warm moment in time that I’ll never be able to relive and that’s deeply bitter sweet.

i know right. idk if you ever watched it, but there was this popular video ages ago called 'if star stable was like every other horse game' or something, and it's just becoming more and more like that every update. it's just losing everything it used to be

Brings back so many memories! I started playing 10 years ago in 2014. I really miss that old Firgrove track and I just don't like the feel of the new ones. I also miss the walls around Moorland! There are a lot of improvements and I do still play the game every day (and have 6 accounts now), but there are things I miss - especially this music! Thanks for this!

Many thanks to the author of this video!!! ... I have been playing since 2014 and I remember this graphics, this amazing music... The old graphics are more natural, more pleasing to the eye. But today the graphic chaos of some locations is very upsetting (Steve's farm no longer exists for me). Yes, the horses and characters needed changes, but today the characters, in my opinion, are not successful... But the horses and ammunition are very good... It's a pity that the developers did not preserve that amazing atmosphere...

I used to play the seasons cd rom games of star stable, this music brings back so many memorys. Thank you so much for this video!
Many of these music (unfortunately not all) still play, you just have to trigger it properly. Some is hard, like the "night" music from the Season Rider games, but it's possible. Just make sure that no other music is playing and go around Moorland, Fort Pinta, Everwind Fields, Firgrove and Valedale Lake, avoiding refurbished areas like Silverglade Village and Starshine Ranch. The night music can be triggered by going from Mistfall to Firgrove through the tunnel without the Mistfall music playing. Go slowly near the end of the tunnel and stop immediately when it starts because Starshine Ranch music will quickly take over.

How to make old SSO players cry:
I'd pay a ton to play this game again. So someone please get the files and make it public. The new guys making the new SSO should have made SSO2 instead of deleting the OG SSO. Or someone else should have bought and saved the OG SSO.

Literally sso does NOT feel like sso anymore and i’m not exaggerating . its so different they lost the magic and mysterious vibe storyline everything the new team literally wants to make their own game instead of listening to actual players. they dont share the same vision old team had

Its just past the winter update, so the fields are lush and green once more. Old horses run around the fields, looking so happy and giving you a smile too. At last, you arrive at Fort Pinta, ready to join the disco.

i can no longer play the game , it just sadeness me i hate the direction the game went in from the style to the quests m smn who apreciates beauty a lot but the new game is just not it , i find myself loving the older game more aesthetic wise the new game looks like fortnite its such a turn off for me.
