Thank you so much for your videos! I am a DIYer and I can’t wait to attempt to rush my rockers that my cat used as a scratching post! Your videos and the best I’ve found! May even start a new hobby! We will see how it goes!
Thank GOD I found your video. My cat ruined one of my chairs and no one in out town does this. I have limited use of my left hand but I'm going to tackle it anyway thanks to your video. Wonderful training. Thanks! P.S. If you were closer, you'd be doing it. LOL
I did a simular seat awhile back. Wish I saw this video before I started that seat. it took me hours to figure out the corners. You make it look do simple.
Watched several videos. I have now wrapped 4 seats. Suggest that those new to paper rush watches a couple of Ed’s videos on the subject, then wrap a seat or two, then watch the videos again. After wrapping a few seats, then watching the videos again, I feel I have a better understanding of the instructions.
My chair is the same top and underneath, not cut and stapled , total continuous. I have a stapler but no place is stapled. Do you have a video replacing that kind of rush seat?
I have rush chairs that have an unusual pattern. There are two diamonds in the center. Sadly cats have ruined 2 chairs. I’m hoping you can point me toward info on how to restore the chairs. Thank you 🙏
I love your video, however I have a chair with armrests that I can’t figure out how to wrap. I am willing to begin again but afraid of the same problem. Can I send you a picture?
Thank you for your great videos! I'm in the middle of my first seagrass rush chair, and I would like to buy the 6/32" twisted seagrass in larger quantities. Can you tell me where you purchase it? The coil I bought on Amazon doesn't even finish one chair. Thank you!
Hello: I see that you're able to cut the rush very easily with some type of cable or wire cutter, can you or would you please show the type of cutter you use; I do cable in the phone industry and depending on the actual type of wire we're working with, the right kind of cutter becomes very helpful, sometimes we even use scissors designed to cut thru wire; I would enjoy very much to know the cutter you use; Weaving chair seats and backs with Rush or other materials is my new hobby, so I picked up instantly on your use of the round staples and gun, excellent idea, thanks Michael C.
Thanks for the great videos they have helped me enormously I'm putting in an order for some rush today oh I'm from owosso mi originally how far are you located from there as I visit there and maybe could pick up supplies next time I'm there thanks
Hi Sheyla, Ed's video's are great; try using a simple epoxy (non high tech) this stuff works better than crazy glue, inexpensive and easy to use; You might also THINK out drilling some small holes on the underside edges of the chair and fill in with the epoxy; Your project only needs some THNKING, but you can do it, you've already taken time out to seek help.

They are just side cutters from the hardware store.

Hi Ed. I would like to weave a chair. But it’s not wood, it’s metal. I don’t know how to keep them in place with a nail?? How can i resolve it?
