Not being rude..we have several videos on how to cook a smashburger if interested...temps matter but not as much as you think...time is more of a med..not to fast but not to slow....slow would not create the crust...to hot would burn not fry the beef..

When burger is smashed… the surface area is massive compared to how thick it is.. seasoning only one side is really the only way to go. Seasoning both sides on such a good him layer of meat will 100 over season the meat. If you think it’s light on the seasoning… you haven’t tasted that brand.
