- Arsenal 2 also known as Arsenal Reloaded is now in Beta, last time I played this it was in Alpha. So far, this game has not been very popular with Arsenal fans.

A lot was changed in the earlier versions of the beta, but the community wasn't a fan of the changes so we had to revert the new movement and blast jumping.
The reason we're making this instead of updating old Arsenal is because current Arsenals code base is really messy and outdated. So adding new updates or features (Like grapple shotgun) would be far too difficult. There's new features in beta that aren't fully explained right now such as Rocket Launcher having a new M2 fire mode, blast jumps guaranteeing backstabs when you hit someone while in the blast jump state. Or how the golden knives double jump is now a dash mechanic.
Presently we're just trying to get the game to feel good to play, once we do that we'll be adding all sorts of new features, modes, and settings. We were also not looking to gather much attention to the beta so we can just get a public testing going and get the feedback we need to improve it.

as a former arsenal fan who played a2 alpha, the beta version just feels like a reupload but with better quality. It’s basically like a wii and a wii u type of game.

Yeah the beta was pretty bad when it initially released (which is why it's kinda dead and hated)
But they've been updating the beta tons and it's actually a pretty fun game now imo

After watching Banditre's video about A2, he showed stuff like the hit boxes are different making it somewhat harder than the first arsenal, you can now rocket ride (I find it fun to be fully honest) and what I find the most interesting is that, the ammo system they have, maybe it'll change we're not sure but, it's pretty much infinite to be honest. Even Bandite's showed us that the golden gun now has unlimted ammo meaning for someone not as good at the game missing once or twice isn't as punishng as you can just shoot another bullet right after.
As what krystal said they are still working on it, as an og player of Arsenal I'd like to see where it holds up, [Disclaimer this is just my full on thoughts and opinions please don't swarm me].
The reason why they are probably making a new game is that, most older games have a kind of messy script from all the devs that worked on it over the years which makes adding stuff as new gamemodes kind of hard I think that this is why they are making this game(Might be wrong tho)

The main important reason to aresnal 2 are the game is same mechanics same character same skin same guns and the 2nd reason is most of people do not even known that it exist

When u used it as background I didn’t knew it was a new Arsenal. I just tought the GUI changed a bit. That’s how similar it is.
The best way to describe it is it works as a game but fails as a sequel
I wonder if the reason they decided to make a second one is because perhaps the code in the original one was scrambled or badly written making it hard to work with, similar to what the Jailbreak devs are experiencing; they struggle updating the game because the old code makes it confusing and makes new features buggy.
SHARKBLOX, I have some news for you. A game called 'Obby creator' recently got hacked with nsfw UI in the game. I haven't done more research on it but it just happened yesterday.

im pretty sure a2 is a temporary name, from what i know i believe it will be an update to the main game. from playing arsenal and a2, a2 performs a lot better. a1 getting around 150fps max graphics, a2 getting 240 and not really going down (my fps unlocker cap)
What I would like the devs to add for A2 is the enemy color outline setting, as it would make it much easier to spot enemies from the opposite team that are farther away from you.

we've been waiting for CB2 for about 4 years now, it will never release
when they started saying they were going to make arsenal 2, they said that they were making it because of old code that was hard to read, so they made a new one to clean it up as that would be easier.
The only reason why I dont like this game is what's the point of making a second one when the gameplay is similar to the first one, and the only major difference with the second one and the first is that the second one looks better
the fact people don't know about spaghetti code and remaking a game from the ground up after having grown as a developer is insane to me.
I hope that it is going to become very popular one day. It definetly deserves more attention! I mean to be fair: It is still a new game and they will only start adding new things later. Lets just give the Devs some time and they will figure out the problem. :)

imo Arsenal Reloaded is WAYYY MORE optimized than regular arsenal which is very good for us low end peeps ( 40 fps normal arsenal. 80 fps A2. )

What changes in the beta is the gun spread makes it feel like rng based and closely similar to Counter Blox, the locker feels messy and i don't like the look of Team Selection

I see hope with this. Yes it’s bad right now. But it’s in beta. With more updates I can see good coming with this. And I’m saying this as a formal arsenal player who use to play a lot.

Im pretty sure that this is not even a sequel (it is most likely an upcoming update), Its a joke from the devs (the A2 thing). honestly I think it kind of gets immediate somewhat undeserved hate as I must admit the alpha testing was kind of mediocre but that leads to people being ignorant on this one too and giving blind, destructive criticism which doesn't even help the devs realize their mistakes.
conclusion: its NOT a sequel, its an update, the devs didnt clarify this enough i think.

arsenal is like a fighting game, different game just the same stuff. arsenal reloaded feels to me just a title update
Arsenal 2 is supposed to be more of a rewrite of old arsenal and would overwrite the main game when it's finished and ready
So the issue I see with Arsenal 2 is that it just doesn't have a reason to exist, This could have been an update to Arsenal.
The interface looks so bad and lacks direction, it honestly just looks really ugly and doesn't fit with the whole aesthetic of the game, it lacks consistency and looks boring and plain, from the HUD to the Menu.
i feel like aiming is suddenly much harder than in the current Arsenal

Btw you dont have to buy skins, all you have to do is type /giveall in the chat, it gives you everything in the game.
I personally kinda like the game but it just doesn't feel like arsenal for some reason.
Things I like:
-Grapple gun
-high FPS
-You can now fly on rocket launcher (right click)
-its much easier to knife people
-Golden knife is less annoying
-vip servers are free, however that can change.
Arsenal 2/Arsenal Reloaded is good, But I still prefer normal Arsenal.

As an arsenal player it's so weird watching arsenal reloaded and the hud I mean sure it's clean but still tho the stuff it's like u jus copy it then make a high quality version of the original game and if it does come out then I hope its connected to the old arsenal server or put an menu thingy on the old arsenal and separate it and the skins/items I wish u can have those still on the arsenal reloaded but yea it ain't like the prime now the old one barely getting upds.

Making a new game is pretty pointless, a game I used to play a lot Assassin is getting a sequel game made rn and that makes sense since the coding it extremely old and its a way to refresh and expand the game, Arsenal does just fine on its own and doesn't need a whole 2nd game.

I just checked it out, it has 109 players but only 3 in the server i joined 💀 when you joined you had 41 total players and had a kinda active server, i have the opposite literally 💀
i played it and it was fun but felt kind of pointless, it felt like they made arsenal 2 just too make arsenal 2 not for some massive overhaul like they said

Back in 2022! Reason being because starting on a new slate would be easier for them. They said that the code for the first game is a big mess, so it'd be very difficult to add more items and whatnot.
